He was using the fast mode featuee which removed more over 70% of your lag especially in mobile me personally even tho i am mobile i get 56-60 fps (56 is my lowest) and the game runs smooth,i recommend turningnoff other unused app due to it takes a lot of memory/storage and helps the game lag
