Hey Adam, I just wanted to give you a quick update on how things have been going. I am 2 1/2 weeks in with 18 contracts 3 of which fell through due one high deductible and the other 2 because of an unprofessional blow joe roofing contractor knocking doors of 2 of his neighbors that I signed up trying to sabotage my business. Matter of fact when I was walking back to my truck with a signed contact in hand today he had his truck pulled up behind mine standing there waiting on me. I had to deal with him getting upset because I’m helping all of his neighbors while he was at home sleeping on potential business. We are out here getting it and people are taking notice! I went out to dinner last night with my sales managers and VP and they were talking about promoting me to field supervisor already! I’m filling up that pipeline hard and I already got promoted to a high end territory with massive 5k+ sqft homes. I have been the top sales guy in the office two weeks straight, going for three! Oh and to throw in a little side note my truck broke down and was in the shop for 5 days and I was still closing 1-3 contracts a day with no truck or ladder! Luckily I have her back now and she is running good!!! Thanks for all the great content man!!!
HELL YEAH MY DUDE! I LOVE hearing this. Keep crushing it out. Working you way up that quickly is a big deal. If you're getting jobs stolen out from under you, this video may help too: ruclips.net/video/vDBj7cafXB8/видео.html Happy selling and cheers to a kick butt 2020!
Damn, Dude, that's inspiring. I'm thinking about selling roofing until I can get my own crew. Mind if I chat about business over email or texts? Would be willing to bonus you with a percentage of sales.
I'm 2.5 weeks in. We don't have people sign contracts and we also require no money down. Only knocked doors a few days and was told to quit selling because were so backed up. Being that I'm purely commission I'm not very happy. The owner told me to learn xactimate and he would give me 10% of all supplements. He said they usually do 1.5 to 2million in supplements. The owner is also my cousin. What do you think? I've got about 4k invested to far. Decked out way more than any of the other guys. 24' aframe telescoping ladder, dji phantom 4 pro, the goat, cougar paws, bully bag, tarps tools nails, full computer setup, printer scanner, quality chalk. And he wants me to sit behind a computer. He says he wants me to eventually to become a PA. What do you think? I like knocking doors and the psychology of it. I was batting 800 yesterday seemed like everyone was thankful they opened the door. Inthinkni landed and American inn. The manager loved me.
@@Zackmild. I’m doing great, I was the top sales person in the previous company I worked for 3 years straight topping out at 250 approved jobs in one year. I started my own company this year and we had an excellent first start up year! Planning on scaling my business to over 5 million next year.
Glad you liked it! How do I scheduled the install? Is that what you mean? Our team used the calendar in our CRM :) Then we called and emailed the dates and details to our customer.
Hey Alberto, happy to help! You can get the letters here: www.theroofstrategist.com/storm-battle-pack and if you have any questions, please email: adam@roofstrategist.com :)
Hey Adam, First off I’d like to say excuse the name. I made it when I was 13 and don’t feel like changing it. Anyways, It’s my third week in the industry. I’ve been knocking and I had an amazing day my first week. Ended up getting 5 leads in one neighborhood I’m only a few hours. I was stoked! However the next week I kept knocking on doors in neighborhoods with No Soliciting. I had several people mention it to me in a rattler rude way and it really brought me down. I’ve been super anxious to knock and haven’t gotten a single lead since. Most of the neighborhoods I go to are no soliciting and even though I know it’s perfectly fine for me to be there. It still throws me off my game... any tips to overcome this fear?
@@j.t.morehead1370 Hey JT! Happy to help dude. First off, congrats on success out of the gate! That's epic. Two responses below. #1) In terms of fear: I recommend downloading my free "Pitch" Like a Pro Roofing Sales Training. www.theroofstrategist.com/pitch-like-a-pro (You'll get it emailed to you instantly). Inside is 120+ videos organized by category. I have an entire section on "Goals and Motivation." In there, you'll find 3 videos on fear, motivation, and how to overcome. I also did a video on fear last week :) #2) In response to No Soliciting signs. I will be doing a video on this (probably next week) as it has been coming up ALOT. In short, direct mail is your best strategy for this :) Watch the section on "Direct Mail" in my video library. Hope this helps!
The Roof Strategist Just finished watching your video on “No Soliciting” signs. It was very insightful. I love the idea of writing someone a hand written letter. I’ll be sure to download your training. I haven’t actually had any luck over the past couple weeks. I feel as though part of it is because I’m not entirely educated on the whole industry yet and I’m sure people can tell. But I also don’t seem to get people’s respect at the door since I’m only 21 and look like I’m fresh out of high school. It has seriously killed my self esteem to the point where I told my inspector I needed a break from knocking. hopefully after reviewing your training I’ll feel confident enough to get myself back out there. Thanks for the help!
@@j.t.morehead1370 Dude. Don't beat yourself up. You got this. Download the training. Watch the "Canvassing" section (especially the part on the "SLAP" Formula), I also recommend looking at the "Goals & Motivation" section for videos on how to deal with fear and getting beat down. If you have questions, fire away!
So feel like there is a whole lot of competition on the streets . I have literally seen over 50 different companies. how do you keep up or pull ahead of these guys ? I'm new only three weeks in and the rest of my team has triple the leads that i do . i feel like i'm missing out and losing ground.
Hey Herbert, it's a competitive world out there for sure. It's all about standing out to differentiate yourself. I recommend a few things. You can either search my RUclips Channel manually, or download my "Pitch" Like a Pro Roofing Sales Training Video Library (for free) and get instant access to every single video organized by category. www.theroofstrategist.com/pitch-like-a-pro #1) Watch the "Roofing Sales Basics" section (specifically the video on the 4 stages of the claims process) #2) Watch my video on the SLAP Canvassing Formula. It will help you ace your pitch at the door. #3) Watch the videos on "Canvassing," "Pitching," and the "Contingency Agreement" to learn how you can stand above and close more deals. I also have a ton of videos on objection handling in the "Objections" section. Last thing, watch this video to land more inspections: ruclips.net/video/QbMzbFc2RDA/видео.html
These livestreams had a tendency to run longer. You'll find the newer videos and udpated format to be punchier ;) Hope you still found some value in there though!
