Ariana Grande is literally a Broadway actress lol. She might not perform primarily in theater anymore, but she isn’t like just some random out of left field pop star. I’m not that much of a fan of Ariana Grande and I don’t think she’s above criticism, but again, she is very much still a former broadway actress. Fire parody btw. The lyrics are like really fun, the comedic timing is on point and the singer killed it.

She did go on the full 6 month audition process, she said she hunted down the producer to ask for a chance to auditions and took vocal and acting lessons every day to prepare for it and deconstruct her voice, if anything she was casted because out of everyone who auditioned they thought she was the best choice because until the last second Ariana didn’t think she was going to be given the part

Plus, they arent even supposed to be high schoolers, theyre in university, and if you casted university students they would look way too young on anything after defying gravity. you clearly dont know much about the musical, and if you think THEY look young, you better never see grease then lmfao. "chosen to sell merch" is just not true lmao
