Defence was working pretty solid. Forwards needs to be more clinical in terms of finishing and midfielders need to work on their ball control and players need to have more confidence on themselves. Gurpreet Singh Sandu had done his job to the extent he could deliver. We need players like Mehtab Singh whose work rate is solid and defensive wise he is nice.
From this match it is clear that Indian government seriously needs to start investing on football from the grass root levels. It was clear from the match because even though our players can do long press and many times have good work rate they clearly lack in ball control and finishing especially in the final third of the game.
Even though we lost the match I am still proud of them because unlike the previous games this time they showed the intent and indeed have the hunger to score more goals.
