This is such a standard scripted review that it's borderline boring to view if it wasn't for the great looking car. The same things mentioned in this "review" are said in the 50 other reviews of this car. How can you honestly say that interior is of good quality? Have you sat in the new BMW 5, Merc E class, or Volvo S90? The interiors of these cars are leaps and bounds better in interior design and material quality. I am a Jaguar enthusiast and I have owned 2 so far and I really want them to succeed more and more. But their new interiors are significant step back compared to the competition. I wish these reviews were honest.
What a dull look the car has with black color, black grill, black tyres and no chrome. There is no contrast at all and you see practically zero details. Usually this car looks fantastic.
I presume you think they should have the old English oak and walnut interiors? That staid image nearly killed Jaguar in Europe. They had to modernise to stay afloat.
as far as i know there are a couple of XF S models, i owe a used XF S producing 275 bhp, its super super easy to drive, great handling and fast whenever you need it to be. jaguars can easily go up to 200 000 kms so buying a used car with the same engine and size will prove you right not buying a 1.8l and below cars for driving everyday. you can find used XFs for great and affordable prices, i bought mine for 16 grand and it was worth every damn penny
Yup! Really. I'm on my 3rd one now. First was a 2009 3.0L (1st gen) XF-S Diesel, 275Hp twin sequential turbos. Next was a 2017 3.0L (2nd Gen as in video) XF-S Diesel, 300Hp. New to me is a 2018 3.0L XF-S Petrol with 380Hp Supercharged. It's bloody quick, but refined. Probably nothing like as quick as an XFR is though. I'd would have loved to have seen the old AJ-V8 that was in the 1st generation XFR, put into this current car with the all aluminium body. At 500+ Hp, the old XFR was a real rival to the BMW M5. Even Clarkson lauded it as an equal to the M5. Talk is that Jag are going to release a newer XF-SVR or XF-SVO but using a BMW engine.
I think I want to test myself on a great jaguar car
isn't there a xfr-s ? but i dont think it was awd

That is why American motoring journalists are a laughing stock around the world. Uninformed, uncritical, incompetent.

Great review nice to hear an American saying "Jag u are ". Pity he can't drive past a McDonalds without pulling in 😃
Love everything about it except its boring dull interior, which looks nothing like a Jaguar interior suppose to be.
