- This is my short animation project for the last quarter for grade 10. I pick the the scene from the movie "My Ex and Whys" in anime style if that makes sense. But yeah I hope you guys like it.

no I think the point of this animation is to show how much "Revenge" can make someone look disgusting even if they were the ones who were victimized. I mean she dragged 2 other people in this selfish revenge of hers apparently.
How do you make the characters glide while the background stays still?
The characters is in a different layer from the background so it's easy to make them glide :D

The animation is based on the movie, My Ex and Whys. Found it entertaining back then, but I recently realized how the movie did the guy dirty. He was drunk when it happened. If you watched the movie, he was so drunk he couldn't even walk on his own and had to be supported by their female manager back then. The girl was calling his cellphone and the female manager answered, telling her that he couldn't answer the phone because he's too drunk and needs to rest. The call was not ended (idk if that was intentional or not) and the girl basically heard her boyfriend being sexually assaulted, yet the movie framed it as infidelity. The girl also saw it as infidelity because the guy had a playboy image before they met. It's infuriating to watch after realizing this, honestly.
The movie aside, this animation really captured the emotions on the movie. Watched this when it was first released and saw it on my feed again. Really amazing.

But um, so she ruined other people's lives to "get even" with her ex who cheated on her while drunk? Don't forgive him if you don't want to but no need to bring other people into it and ruin their lives when they never did anything to deserve such treatment, the art style is gorgeous though,a awesome!
i watched this movie and she actually only targeted her ex. so here's what happened, her ex was in a party and she thought it was for nothing. background: to to prove that he's a cheater once and for all she hired girls from different scenarios to seduce him and everything but he denies. on this party though she sent a group of girls to proof that this time, this time, he's gonna fall for it. but that party was supposed to be an engagement celebration of her ex's friend and while they were video-chatting his friend's fiance saw the girls that cali(girl in the video) sent. obviously the fiance cut ties with the ex's friend leaving the friend heart-broken because his friend was so excited for the wedding.
also, the behaviour of cali which is the "no matter what you still cheated on me and will always do" actually comes from her parents' relationship. cali's mom gave her dad a lot of chance despite cheating a lot of times to the point her dad left with his new gf. but her mother was always optimistic that their dad would eventually come home but cali's aunt insists and teaches her the phrase "once a cheater will always be a cheater"

@@joaquingamarra3248 no one's in the wrong here :) perspective matters. her father cheated on her mother so many times before and eventually her mother's family made her believe never to cling on a cheater.
the guy knew what's with her parents so he probably tried to understand her situation. family pressure is hard to ignore. (also cali is an author or such so she might've gone to deeper conclusions, the guy got fed up further so cali needed redemption. the both of them tried.)
That's also what I was thinking. I've been hurt a lot by people but I think I've never dragged anyone into my drama and I never took revenge. I understand that pain sometimes doesn't go away even if years pass but if someone, like this girl apparently in the movie, hurts people because she was hurt in the past, she immediately becomes what she hates, and now *she* is somebody's villain in their lives. No matter how much we hurt inside, we must never hurt someone else who has nothing to do with it.

Pretty sure both is on the wrong, but hers is far more worst because she literally drag other people into their problem.
Remember, what she saidand know that to her if a women does the same that the rule doesn’t apply. Because women apparently have no control over themselves while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, while men do.

So dude got drunk accidentally got intimate with another girl, immediately told and apologized to his girlfriend? Maybe I'm biased because I'm a dude but if he actually cares enough to confess and apologize then why take it so far?
I guess at least if the guy actually did something about it like cutting ties with the other girl and stopped drinking then that should be enough right?
This is actually based on a movie. The girl had massive trust issues about cheating (because all men that she knew cheated to her aunts and mother, that left her fatherless at a young age) and her boyfriend knew about it.
I actually understand your perspective as a man. As a woman, it is extremely painful to know that the only man you open your heart and gave your trust again 'cheated' on you at the end.
Btw, the movie is a mess because the boyfriend was actually raped because he was taken advantaged by another woman while drunk. Yet the movie made it that the boy "cheated". Yikes.

The thing is, it's based on a movie. You see the girl is traumatized by her father and mother's bad relationship because her dad always cheats on her mother but the mother always forgives him. Her boyfriend promised her he would never cheat on her but then one night he got drunk and slept with another girl. She heard everything over the phone because the girl answered and left the phone by the bedside table
i mean he did the bare minimum by not lying to her about something _that_ important.. and she has the right to be upset about it and not wanting to forgive him for doing something wrong.

so when 2 said "You cant make him understand", 2 is talking abt their friend, I'll call the friend '1', so 1 had a fiance thats from (I think) korea and 1 has a long distance relationship with her, 1 hosted a party so some of 1's friends and 1's fiance can meet (on a laptop) , but cali used this 'opportunity' and put some mini cameras on the room 1 were hosting and hired some girls to dress up in revealing clothes and a girl that was hired by cali sat at 1's lap and kept kissing 1's cheecks, and bad timing 1's fiance happened just to go online and saw the scene, she claimed that she will break the engagement, and when cali saw that she was tha cause of her friends ruined love life, she immeidietly went to apologize to 1 but 1 snapped and said something like "Please dont bring me and (fiance's name) in you're fight!"

"And the girl who ordered delivery?" so 2 worked as a pizza delivery and hes workplace got a delivery and he was delivering to the person who ordered and the one who ordered was a girl (obviously) and the girl kept saying something like "come in to the bedroom, the moneys here" but 2 was rejecting the girl and said to just hand the money and he'll be straight to go back, but the girl claimed she was sick and she couldn't stand and needed 2 to come in to hand the money, but 2 just decided to pay the pizza and left
