From what I see it, the "Dino Crisis" series might take place in the very far Future while the entire "Resident Evil" series takes place in the Past/Present just like in our Time Period.

Because the Dino Crisis series has a more heavy Sci-fi genre than the RE series even though both are Horror Games, the Point is that Dino Crisis is more Futuristic while RE still takes place in the Past/Present.

It would have to be viewed purely by the intent of the developers when they created it rather than how the RE series progressed by sequels over the years, because the direction has changed with each new title and never with Dino Crisis in mind.
@@joseurbina3835from everything I’ve seen and played with the RE games, Umbrella had access to advanced and/or futuristic technologies way before the rest of the world, so RE has been heavy on sci-fi elements as well. So I think it’s perfectly plausible that the two game series are in the same universe at the times specified.

Completely agree. RE2make played around with stealth. It would be a dream to sneak around and fight dinosaurs as Regina in this engine. Hell, even if they gave Dino Crisis the REmake treatment. Capcom doesn't have the balls to do it, it would seem. Also, I think this is only something Western fans want which is why they are apprehensive to do anything with the Dino Crisis franchise.

Everyone have been asking for Dino Crisis remake, but me personally while I agree that it needs one, I had different idea how it should be handled, which is hot take BTW. Dino Crisis reboot should be integrated into Resident Evil series. What I'm saying, is that we should get DC1 story retold and readjusted as a mainline RE chapter, like we have werewolfs and vampires being explained as being BOWs in RE8, now we can have dinosaurs receive same treatment, and have Chris or Jill appear assisting Regina. Game could be called Resident Evil 11: Dino Crisis, I've thrown random number lol. It would also sell more copies than if it was called just Dino Crisis.
While I like the idea of a crossover, I really would prefer the Dino Crisis franchise to develop more of it's own lore. I'll take anything with Regina though. She's too good of a character to waste away.

Capcom can do magic if they try the single universe plot. There is so much potential for such an idea.
It is more hillarious when you notice that. Dr Edward Kirk´s design is a combination of both Leon and Birkin from RE2 and... Jack Krauser's Design was pretty much based on Gail from Dino Crisis 1 (Same body type, same face estructure and same hair style).
Plus, the entire Island in RE4 Remake resembles quite alot to how Ibis Island looks like where the events of Dino Crisis 1 happens.

Or better yet it would be interesting if the Dino Crisis time traveling setup helped make the Resident Evil world by time traveling gone wrong.
I mean the flowers from RE5 could come from millions of years ago but accidentally got dropped in that cave or the parasite from RE4 was from the future where it came from a parasite bug infected with the T-virus and dropped off in the medieval time when it was first discovered.
There is so much Capcom can do with Dino Crisis time traveling setup.

Unfortunately I don't think Dino Crisis was popular enough for Capcom to want to invest in remaking them.

It's funny I thought the same thing - Dino Crisis series might just be a game series within in the Resident Evil universe and then bam, you mention it. The Regina costume and the Dino Crisis Easter eggs in the PS1 RE games... It really makes sense the more you think about it.
I always thought they were in the same universe. Also in Jurassic Park, Ingen and Umbrella are kind of similar in some aspects, that’s if you read the books and comics. Dino Crisis is clearly inspired by Jurassic Park

If they do make a Remake of Dino Crisis. I think it would make more since for Regina and the team to be wearing proper military attire, considering they are special forces on an op to the island. But also, they should add updated remakes of the classic outfits to as costumes.
Dino crisis isnt even on the world. That Dinosaur's on a spaceship game really jumped the shark. So we got a game that (presumably) didnt have Regina in it was X box exclusive and didn't really set the world on fire. Very odd marketing decisions at the time from Capcom.

Of course they would make similarities between these 2 great games, perhaps they are in the same universe obviously they take place on earth, different time zones, both fighting to survive and while one deals with Umbrella the other is with a research facility with the help of kirk as RE is to William Birkin.
Regina is an operative S.O.R.T. weapons expert, 25 years old, Jill is 23, STARS member, good with weapons, I think both have the same capabilities would work well together.
Now if both were enemies who would win? 🤔
To be fair, storytelling in mobile games has certainly come a long way. Fire Emblem Heroes started with a simple story that got more complex as more books were added, Kingdom Hearts has had a couple of mobile games that I've heard are VERY story heavy--to the point of the mobile games now being a required play and/or watch if you still want a good grasp on what's going on in the new games, and apparently people go nuts over Genshin Impact (that started as a mobile game, right)? I've only played Fire Emblem in any real caapcity out of those, so my personal experience with these is very limited.
Well if Capcom is dragging their feet on this..I guess we would have to look elsewhere like Deathground by Jaw Drop.😌
The posters in RE about DC is probably adverts for the game. Back in the day it was normal to do this. Egm Rage racer has posters for time crisis and soul edge/blade. Burnout revenge I think had posters for need for speed underground 2 on certain billboards. Devs relied on subtle ads in the era of limited internet.

It just wild speculation, imagine Spencer mansion and Resident evil 4 noble family, resident evil 5 is all about ancient virus back to life right? And Dino crisis is one of experiment island like in residents evil Veronica or resident evil revelation 2? Or related to arcade game where nemesis chase you in island?
I'm pretty sure Resident Evil: Dead Aim is not canon, more like a retelling or abridged version of RE2 and Code: Veronica. Not unlike how RE: Umbrella Chronicles is a retelling of RE:make. Dino Stalker takes place during WW2 and Regina is not in the game but all 3 Dino Crisis games suggest that they could be sent through time, possibly to other timelines. I know that there is Project X Zone 1 and 2 for 3DS, I think both Jill and Regina are in those games, again, not "canon". We may not get the Dino Crisis remake we feel we deserve, kind of like how we'll never get a Megaman Lgends follow up. A cameo in a more popular franchise if we're even lucky.

That would be great, considering what had RE4 done to the series itself (remake looks way better though), but unfortunatelly it's not the case, and that's why I think that those were just a neat cameo, nods and not some in-universe confirmations.
P.S. I can only hope, that WHEN the Dino Crisis remake will be released there will be an option to suit Regina up in her cave woman attire^^)

Resident Evil's STARS department is decently fleshed out as a military unit of the police force. Dino Crisis's government and military structure is more vague...the worldbuilding is weaker, mostly because it's not able to integrate well with the "real world" of the 90s the way that Raccoon City and STARS was able to do. So, I think that if Dino Crisis were a movie franchise or gaming franchise in the RE world, that would make more sense than having Regina and all the Dino Crisis characters/governments be actual people/governments in the RE world.

According to Marvel Vs Capcom 3; Resident Evil, Street fighter, Devil may cry etc are all in the same universe.
This video just says “yeah that’d be cool” a lot. Where do you actually connect the two? Oh it’s a game series within it? So it’s not in the same universe… because capcom references all their games in universe. This is an example of getting too high before making a video for the sake of a video.
You missed something. The slide where it shows Jill wearing the three outfits just before you show her looking a Regina's out fit. Paula's outfit from Dino Crisis 2 was in the middle.

What is this video even? this is just a rant about easter eggs between both game series. You are implying that creates a connection of a shared universe which it does not. There is arguably no actual evidence these characters exist in each others respective game universe.
This is like saying that Street Fighter must be part of the RE universe because of 'Eagles petshop' in RE3. Dead Rising must also be because it has Jills Sandwiches. RE must also share with Jojo's Bizarre Adventure because of the R.P.D. locker. They are easter eggs. Not a shared universe. Every game does it. This is a big reach...
The 'gun survivor' is a type of FPS game with the light gun CAPCOM made. Thats why the third one was a Dino Crisis game and not another RE game. Not that those are shared universes.
The posters argument is also silly. Theres literally a Biohazard 4 poster in Resident Evil 3. So is Resident Evil 4 also a game in the RE universe? its just easter eggs.

Tbh Haunting Grounds is more similar to RE4 , the same dog that Leon saves is Fiona's companion. Having the same model in two different games, also the castle in HG is supposedly based off of the RE4 one.
