I know this is a old video. However you are a inspiration and I'm starting my up hill climb sorta speak. In life and in the archery world. Got divorced recently. It was a wake up call that I need to refocus my life. I'm fixing to start exercising and working out again. Picked up a 200 dollar pos bow to try archery hunting and 3d. I've fallen in love with the sport idk if I ever will be able to afford a better setup. But I'm gonna keep hammering with my trusty 200 dollar setup and that included arrows release sight excetra. And u have been a inspiration

Cam, there may be no meaning to this video but these are the kind that I enjoy. Just chill, relaxed, shooting bows and having a chat.

There's a meaning. Ever wonder why they only do Hoyt? Agreed, Hoyt s a decent brand but I believe that's the "meaning" of these videos; advertisements. :)

Man your videos motivate me to go out and shoot my bow and run. If it weren't for people like you in this world staying positive and motivating people to do what they love I don't know what we would do. Keep on being the way you are. I thank you for all you do for people like your friend with cancer, that makes me wanna go out and help someone with less than me. Thank You.

I loved archery as a kid. I felt some kind of connection with it that I couldn't explain as I'm sure most children would have a hard time articulating that feeling. I'm going on 31 now and it's been probably 20 years since I shot a bow. I just picked up a Hoyt Torrex a week ago and haven't missed a morning of shooting yet-- usually shooting for a minimum of 90 minutes. I've pored over archery videos on RUclips to feed my obsession when I'm not looking through the sights. Shooting a bow has been a sort of meditation for me and continuing to get to know you and your perspective has stoked the fire that I didn't know was still there. I am inspired by your work ethic and your joy, Cam. Thank you for being a positive presence in this new-to-me community.

love listening to you talk. With the time change and work it's hard to get out to the range before sun down, so week days i spend shooting in the house. It's only 8 yards, but it still makes me happy getting a chance to pull the string back and letting some arrows fly.

Hey Cam, so since i started listening to Joe on the podcast i started thinking about getting a bow.
My late uncle was a PH here in South Africa so it hit near and dear too me.
Then i started watching your vids, now its all i can think about.
I am going to buy a second hand bow really soon and get into the life style.
    Thanks for being you!!!

My bow is a few years old. I am blessed that when I'm healthy I shoot a little just about every day. I have ONE bow. + ONE old man and shot placement you get from familiarity. If I cannot shoot I work on shooting muscles. If given the opportunity to shoot a little every day, how could one turn up their nose at that opportunity. Thanks Cameron for conveying the simple joy of watching the arrows fly.... and noticing their significant impact.

Just got my first bow this week. I've learned tons from you about setup and shooting. I use similar equipment because you better than anyone I've ever seen. But boy do we differ about a lot of stuff. I love beer and I'm farmer strong don't waste time in the gym. But I was shooting super tight groups out to 60 yards first day of shooting by emulating your style. Thanks for sharing.

I had a really bad day at work on Monday, Tuesday was an improvement but not ideal. It came on a fairly stressful fortnight.
Tuesday night I was at the range shooting. It was pure joy. Most of the shots and groups were solid, be even those outside the ring were a pleasure to deliver.

I just got into bow shooting, really, mostly a bit here and there for the past few weeks, and just on a cheap bow, or at least compared to that Hoyt Nitrum. And its fun, a lot of fun. But dam! Never seen a guy so happy all the time in his videos when he is just holding one, or about shooting a bow, hes always got that smile like its like Christmas all the time. Its cool stuff though. More power to ya I suppose.

I wholeheartedly agree about finding motivation to workout. If you ask yourself, "am I going to go workout, or am I going to wimp out?" You have already lost. Quitting is habit forming. Each time it gets easier to rationalize why you're quitting. Make a workout plan and stick to it. The only question should be, "how much am I going to enjoy my workout today?" Not "am I going to workout today"

@CH, you're a lucky man. I can only shoot my bow for about 4 hours on a Saturday afternoon (when I'm not working Saturdays). open public land is no-go for any kind of archery shooting here in the uk (air rifles & shotguns are ok, but not bows/crossbows)

Love these vids cam. Nice setup mate, love the bow. Waiting on my carbon spyder zt turo in blue to be in, got about 2 weeks left to wait. Watching you're videos makes me want it more and more lol. I also shoot a quest radical everyday. when i can't, if i wake up to late, i get in a very cranky mood tll i can shoot again. I live in the suburbs unfortunately, and the guy next to me works nights and has a wife and young kid at home, so i only shoot from 12pm till 5pm so i don't wake up the baby. I'm a night owl so it's very hard to fall asleep before 2 most times 5am, thats with sleeping aids witch knock me out for 12 hours. insomnia is a bitch, without sleeping aids i can't get to sleep. I often wake up at 3pm leaving only 2 hours to shoot, but i try and remember that lots of people don't even get that a day or even a week and i should feel lucky. Wish i had someone to shoot with. Going huntng soon with my father and his mate, Hunting goat, rabbit wild pig and fox on 1000 acre private land. Need lot's of practice before my hunt. Sorry for the long post, no one in my house wants to hear me talk about my sport, only have the web for that😭

Losing arrows sucks when you robinhood it when shooting bow and you just got those arrows

I disagree. What socks about shooting a note is you can dump so much money into it so quickly, and like that, $10 just flew away at several hundred feet per second because you missed a target. Otherwise I agree.

How come you shoot a 3 fletch arrow and not a 4 fletch arrow? I've always thought that a 4 fletched arrow shoots better at long distance like you shoot. Just wondering man. Also I take your advice and I shoot everyday with my Mathews! Keep Hammering Bud and have a blessed day!

Really? My dad does because he shoots out to 80+ yards hunting in the mountains of Nevada. Also at the league I shoot at here in Kentucky some competition archers shoot a 4 fletch because they say it tightens the groups when they shoot 5 spot. but it also slows the arrow down because there more air caught by a 4 fletch than a 3 fletch, Really its all in preference. I shoot a 3 fletch but I'm gonna try a 4 fletch soon.
