Seems strange that they axed that entire numbered line after being sold for such a long time. Unless they're looking to recycle the formulas in different bottles. 🤔 Wouldn't be the first time...
I tried a few fragrances on skin the other day including Ocean Blue - I may have got confused about where I sprayed it but it reminded me of Spicebomb - not a freshie at all, very surprised.
Arcticwind in a few seconds For something marketed as a blue fragrance, you would expect something ozonic, oceanic and fresh, but that isnt it at all. Its gourmand almost, sweet, vanilla-y, cinnamon are very strong in this, its okay, just really unexpected. Pretty weak, even with overspray, the bottle leaks, like most of the other ones from Zara, it isnt great but it's good for people getting into fragrances!
@@rottenrebels I get a solid moderate projection for the first 2-3 hrs and there after it sits close to me all through the day and is easy to pick up with your nose.
To me, Ocean Azure smells like "blue" top notes with a bit of patchouli on a base like that of Ultra Male. It also reminds me a bit of PR Phantom due to the combination of lemon, lavandin and vanilla, but it's not a clone. Performance is decent.
It's very interesting fragrance and there is this earthy vetiver that makes this scent very good. It is a little bit harsh and there is nothing that makes it oceanic. Don't be fooled by short projection, I was very surprised when after 2-3 hours I got complimented about the smell. I just got noseblind. For me it smells like it was created in 90s and I can't find any scent it is a clone of. Maybe someone else will. I'll buy second bottle for sure, knowing that Zara almost for sure will cease production soon.

Ocean Electric has niche quality. It's stupid good ❤ Like a nice blend of Kenzo Homme with Ganymede.

I smell a bit of Kenzo homme and Ganymede in the drydown. But it's not a 1:1 clone of anything...afaik
