- Periyar National Park, is a protected forest area in the mountainous Western Ghats of Kerala in India. Lot of ecotourism options are available in the forest for tourists and you can book through the official website mentioned below. Is this a Island surrounded by waters on all side or connected to land at other end ie non river side.from where the animals come for grazing in front of Watch tower
This is not island. 3 sides of this watch tower is reserve forest.

How to reach the top of the cliff that you showed towards the end of the video? What's the exact location?
You can go to the top of the mountain with the forest guides. No possible to go without this stay package as this is inside the national park.

How much time it takes for hiking from lake palace to the watchtower?
No hiking in this route. Almost 20 minutes of trekking only.
