The T1 ore extractor is pretty useless imo. All you can get from them besides basic resources are sulfur and aluminum and a very low ratio at that. I'd wait until you can build a T2 ore extractor so you can get resources like osmium and superalloy.
why don't you set all the crates and storages that you find for the drones to pick up later. Set them up for picking all the resources and when you have a drones you put some storages that will accept everything and in this case all those things that you do not pick up now will be deliver latter on at your base. you can even try the ones from wrecks who know it my work.

Nope. But if he ever stopped to open blue crates he'd have a lot of the resources he doesn't think he has. Also if he organised his lockers and labelled them, he wouldn't lose stuff.
Drills in planet crafter create pressure by releasing gas. Ore extractors dig up metals etc. But you do need drills to increase terraforming and unlock things so you want to keep the tier of drill, heater, ore extractor, energy generation and so on up to date. Every time you get a new tier, replace the old one. The only thing that's not exactly true of is the wind turbines and solar panels etc. You can keep those because they add energy and don't consume it. The heaters are less efficient and use more energy for dramatically less output. So you want to get rid of the old ones - and they contain resources you can use in the new Tier one. The only reasons to get rid of wind turbines are when you need the iron, or when you have so many they are lagging your PC or just getting in the way of buildings.
