Great playing and personal tone man ! I really appreciate watching your videos, My sunday treat of the day ! Thanks for putting a good spin on my afternoon ! Cheers from Belgium !
Have to agree with JohnnyF - I love seen these videos and glad there's plenty of folks that can pay so much, but I have to budget somewhere. Doesn't help that my reference is skewed. I have a really sweet vintage Strat and 65 gibson and paid a fraction of what these go for - of course I've had them quite a few years.
i am just blow away by the sound that was produced here. Jesus christ, for the first time ever i understood the price and why people pay so much. If you are serious about your art you will pay what these are worth. In other words, for the first time ever, i would consider financing a guitar lol. What an amazing sound.
Sounds pretty good, but a guitar at that price shouldn’t hum that bad. A studio engineer would be pretty annoyed over that and a live audience would notice it too, it was prominent while he played (not just in between licks). Sitting next to the amp probably isn’t helping.
No question that this is a great guitar but the prices of these things has now become ridiculous; there's clearly a very cynical attitude driving the pricing and a concerted effort to rip off rich old fools. Sorry but count me out. You have to draw a line somewhere
If you look at CME's Echopark stock, they're nearly sold out. Evidently there are plenty of folks who are happy paying that much. It's all about perceived value. If you have a room full of vintage guitars, Fender and Gibson Custom Shop pieces, where do you go from there? Handmade one-off's like these. It doesn't hurt that Joe Perry and Johnny Depp play them - the 'cool' factor is off the charts.
I totally get what you're saying. Its kinda like when you see an ordinary looking person with questionable driving skills pull up to the neighborhood supermarket in a Ferrari, ain't it? That 'why can that be me' feeling...LOL!
That first riff though
the song that Joel starts playing at 2:12 is 'Fine For Now' by Grizzly Bear. GREAT song.
That guitar and amp is a match made in Heaven! Great demo too!
Initial riff by Joel's really mesmerizing. Awesome. This guys has chops. Great demo.
I have never heard a combination more beautiful.
Whats the tune he plays at the start? Beautiful!
Great playing and personal tone man ! I really appreciate watching your videos, My sunday treat of the day ! Thanks for putting a good spin on my afternoon ! Cheers from Belgium !
One of the best demo performances online
The guitar and amp choice are superb!! Great sound! All the playing was great, but the last parts of what was played were sublime.. Great demo.
beautiful sounding guitar. it's right there behind b3 phoenix in my list of favorties :).
This needs to be a full song with that first guitar riff.
"I Sat By The Ocean" :D
Also, absolutely stunning guitar. That neck pickup is just flawless.
In case any of you are the wondering the first two songs are tuned E-A-C#-F#-B-E.
You sounded Very inspired playing this guitar Joel! Well done!
For those wondering the first song is Fine For Now by Grizzly Bear.
I don't know how to get there to be able to play like that intro. It looks liberating.
This a beautiful guitar with great tone would love to play this model
Dead gorgeous playing and sound as always.

Well i didn't expect a sound that good.
hell yeah i sat by the ocean they kinda introduced echopark
I love the music they use to demo their stock. I almost come just to hear them play.
Oh I've missed these videos :D. Great playing Joel!
Fine For Now!!!:D, so awesome to hear you play Grizzly Bear in your demos!
well that is just stunning!
SUBSCRIBE & TURN ON NOTIFICATIONS TO NEVER MISS A GEAR DEMO!
@chicagomusicexchange Whats the first song played? It's gorgeous!
That is one of the nicest guitars i have ever seen/heard. I wish i had money.
No pedals whatsoever. That's probably the best amp on the planet.
that fiddle is beat man
Like the nod to TVL at 3:34!
mannnn your grizzly bear samples give me life
Sick tune in the inrto
I gotta have this guitar! Luving it.
Man that first song kicks ass
WTF ITS SO BEAUTIFUL

Sounds Great Joel! You may want to get a StringRayTool to help re-string that beauty when the time comes.
sounds fantastic!
When Joel play, i want his guitar and his amp too ! Héhé
such a great playing! I even like the selection of songs a bit more than on proguitarshop's demos
EAC#F#BE for the first section. Drop D at the end.
Is it just reverb no pedals?
Make a guitar tab for the first song in this video!
need the tab of that first riff!
+TheSeanboard the tuning is E-A-C#-F#-X-X
+TheSeanboard Grizzly Bear is a big user of that tuning.
Guitar sounds amazing. I'll take one please!
gosh i dream of the day i buy a guitar like this
tHe guitar are great but the first riff is AWESOME!
Looks fucking incredible!
Nice riff, Joel! =)
rig = guitar + amp
Less is almost always more, especially when the guitar is that good.
Fucking sweet... You made that guitar sing!
Can't remember what it's called, but that neck pickup is literally the best sound ever. I want one so bad...
It’s a gold-foil pickup
wo that beauty really sings!
Yes sir. We're called Royale and you can check it out at royaletheband (dotcom)
and the last piece too...!
That last riff that sounded kind of Ry Cooder-ish, was that the neck pickup?
Good!!!
I dig the shit out of that guitar. Great tone.
Tear drops are falling off my face
J'aime beaucoup vos morceaux 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Does Joel have a band or any original music published? I Watch these Chicago Music Exchange videos just to see him play.
The band he plays in is The Band Royale!
Nice reverb- I wonder what the guitar sounds like...
Great playing and tone...unfortunately when buying an Echopark the Quality and attention to requested specs is a bit of a crapshoot.
sold
Joel put out a tab on that first song:)
What tuning is the first part of the video that Joel plays?
"Fine for now" by Grizzly Bear
Noah Hoed I believe it's E A C# F# B E (standard with the 3rd and 4th string down 1/2 a step)
hey anyone know the tuning for the clean parts?
I was all for checking these guitars out until I saw the price :O
I thought you said this thing was on clearance
Does anyone know if that opening riff is from a particular song? I'd love to know. :)
I can't remember the name of the first song but the first 2 are grizzly bear tracks. The second is "fine for now".
yo joel do you have a band i can check out cuz you're #killin it
What strings are on that right now?
What is that first song?
What tuning was he using?
What is the name of the pickup? Is it a humbucker?
1:23
echoparkguitars.com/wordpress/about/buy/
Standard tuning?
i wrote & submitted that comment and then you started playing Fine For Now.... unreal.
What songs is he playing?
Did Stevie Wonder cut that pickguard?
Why know the first song?
gold coil
People want to know what your rig is while you are playing so explain it more!
The price ;((
Im guessing these cost a fortune?
Sounds pretty good, but a guitar at that price shouldn’t hum that bad. A studio engineer would be pretty annoyed over that and a live audience would notice it too, it was prominent while he played (not just in between licks). Sitting next to the amp probably isn’t helping.

If you think these are expensive, be glad you don't play something like the violin. Now THAT'S where you see some crazy prices.
I totally get what you're saying. Its kinda like when you see an ordinary looking person with questionable driving skills pull up to the neighborhood supermarket in a Ferrari, ain't it? That 'why can that be me' feeling...LOL!
"almost"? i don't have money to buy anything that they show us. i just come to see and listen! XD
he looks like jason sudeikis
Echo Park, hipsterland of LA.
love these guitars but there way to expensive
Nice guitar but $3500 for an aged bolt on neck guitar I'll pass. Buy a nice Tele, some PUs, a Bigsby, and some sandpaper and files ;)
very expensive... ill rather by d real Mc Coy Fender custom or Bill Nash guitars for awesome looks n sound half price 😎
I don't think its the guitar that sounds so good, it the amp its played through...
I have a guitar with a bigsby and it's fucking useless. Is that just mine?
Echopark guitars are ridiculously overpriced!!
