You got that left hand double stroke with the louder second stroke down really well. That's instrumental (pun intended) to the standard DnB rhythm, but proving tough for me to conquer. Nice work.

Exactly this! He executes very well, and is a vital stroke for an authentic jungle/DnB sound.
If its any consolation, it took me ages to nail it. I found really rim shotting the accent really helped with the hand motion

drop catch or push pull technique really helps w this! just have to practice for hours and hours 😂

​@verygoodfreelancer Yup drop catch is the skillful and most efficient approach, however I haven't mastered that so I sort of brute force it, snapping the wrist into the rimshot accent as studiocorlas is doing.
It works but I don't necessarily recommend it as I've definitely developed some RSI from that specific movement, so to any reading this - learn drop catch!
