I remeber christmas 2003 or 2004 whenever this set came out, I got 3 packs of this along with other packs, I hit buster blade and jinzo 1st edition. I was ecstatic.
Wow, I still remember most of the artwork for this set, I'm 28 years old and haven't even played this game in about 15 years!
imo psv has been comparatively (for its time) the best set to ever be released, soo many great cards

I never played the actual card game, just collected them and stuff, enjoy watching these old box packs and looking at the artwork. Its very nostalgic and relaxing, every time a packs opened i can literally smell the old yugioh cards.

@SimplyUnlucky I gotta ask man, how do you collect your cards? Do you buy boxes sell holo's outbid them to help pay for more boxes? If'd like to start buying boxes and collect a least 2 or 3 of every card in every set.. Can anyone recommend a good and smart way of doing this?
you can't get jinzo in the 36 pack box. he only comes in the hobby box (24-pack) and imperial only comes in the 36 pack box (retail). badass box tho. strategically, this was one of the best sets EVER! you rock!

@lv70rouge yeah, you can get any card from the 24 pack box except Imperial Order
Imperial Order was always greater than Jinzo to me. Gravity bind was also great to lock down the duel when you're about to get a beat down from your opponent.

I pulled the thousand eye restrict when i was a young boy out of a single booster pack from Walmart. I still look back on that beautiful day.

Hm...the Limiter Removal pulls at the beginning reminded me of your Magic Ruler box opening. You pulled 2 Giant Trunades in the beginning, both a couple packs apart. You did the same here with Limiter Removal.

luckily in my town they have tournaments for classic only. everything above the first 6 series is banned.
That makes for some classic and maybe a couple broken combos if it has the same banlist as the tournaments did before the 1st sets.

this set actually had packaging issue where some of the time super rare would be in the same pack as ultra rare i got a buster blader and dust tornado in one pack and imperial order with gearfried the iron knight this set had its issues

Your best pull out of the first couple sets so far. You managed to pull all 17 rares, and 8 out of 22 foils, 1 of them being secret.
Because it's a 36 pack box...you can't compare it with the other sets lol

The first pack I ever bought was Pharaoh's Servant. Pulled a 1st Edition Jinzo and was hooked. Still my favorite card, probably for that reason.
I hear ya. I had the most fun when this thing first came out and there were only 4 booster packs. I check out the meta now and every turn someone puts out an effect monster and they're constantly shuffling through their deck and picking out what works for them. I remember when you had to actually rely on your deck to beat your opponent.

I guess I should have shown all the cards in the pack and are not getting the rare and go to the next.
In the Upperdeck days the 24 pack boxes are hobby and the 36 pack are retail. Hobby boxes had the 000 secret rares so a 36 pack box of Pharaohs Servent will never have a Jinzo.
So if you bought individual boosters from retail stores ypu would never get a Jinzo?

i remember the first ever pharoahs servant pack i ever got was at kmart in the small town next to me.. i got a buster blader holo. i was in 5th grade i believe. im in my sophmore year at college now and i still have that card to this day..lol
i got jinzo in my first ever pharaohs servant pack. but his name got wiped off the card (:(
The character who looked like The Legendary Fisherman was Mako Tsunami and he does use that card. Also he is not a freaky fish guy lol.
it's not that its more grownups watching and playing, but people who watched yugioh as a child and still enjoy it.
I will say this was a great video with great pulls! I can remember the day I bought a random Pharaoh's Servant booster and I happened to pull a Buster Blader! That made my day just as this one for it took me down memory lane!

@OBMega I really don't go around telling people anything. but I love watching these videos and when someone is upset that they didn't get a Jinzo in a 36-pack PSV box I like to let them know that it's not possible to get one :)

I remember buying one random pack of Pharoah's Servant MANY years ago (when it first came out), and pulling a Jinzo. Unfortunately, I traded that card, and I still regret it.
i used to collect the cards but then the only shop within the area selling them moved :(

and in my present i use thousand eye restrict cyberdark blue eyes white dragon and xyz monsters for back up and future fusion with some witch of the black forest and gold and diferent dimension capsules and some magical mallets
First time I heard about those cards were on the banned list.
Look at some of the new cards that aren't on the banned list, the chain summons you can preform with them is insane. I have been trying to play yugioh on some of those online versions and everytime I did in the first turn the other guy had 2 synchro monsters up and I would have half to 2/3rd of my lifepoints off.
Well, even in the old days, there were many methods of Fusion Summoning besides Polymerization...

I Think A Super Is A Card With The Holographics In The Card Pic With A Regular Black Ink Name , And I Think Ultra Is Holographic Photo With Gold Lettering , Idk Secret

Secret rare is when the Holographic picture is printed with shinny lines,and the name of the card is gold.

I am adapting, I'm trying out other newer decks, which really only play out when there plan just doesn't play out because I use the good old dark hole or a torrential tribute.
I really just don't see the fun in newer yugioh, just like many people don't see the fun in newer formula 1 racing than horse-drawn cart races don't you think?

Imperial Order was actually a better pull than Jinzo in its time before the great Ban came upon it :P

oh I forgot tribe infecting virus as my ace but i play in traditional only my favorite monster thousand eyes can still be defeated by card effects I mean my deck can be easily be defeated if you use a anti beatsick aproach to it nd I have alot more in it too
i hate the synchros and xyz monster i love the old cards i dont mind gx because they still used polymerization for the most part and it was still like 1 monster per turn but i go to local yugioh tournaments and its like 10 minute per turn then at the end of the turn they have 3 xyz monsters

Being able to get 3000+ power on the first turn is overpowered, and that kinda breaks it... My deck can get 2800 on the first turn but I need the PERFECT card set up... Synchro's dont even need you to DRAW them... that would make them balanced...
