Alicia... I'm literally in tears! As you know I've been in a wheelchair for a while. I had no idea that I was so tight in my neck and shoulder area that I literally cannot move my arms further than my ears from the upright position. Your stretch series help more than ANYTHING I've ever done including physical therapy. I'm ever so grateful for you my friend!💞💞

I just did this whole routine and I can't believe how much my shoulders were holding me back. I like how you used the back bend on the wall to gauge how much you're using your shoulders. I cant get my armpits to the wall quite yet haha but very close. Also the way you explained the steps for entering the back bend from a standing position helped me astronomically. Thank you so much for making your flexibility videos they're all just so helpful. ❤️

I’ve been stretching for a year now since I began training Kung Fu and never really noticed long term improvement. Since I was already pretty flexible even before Kung Fu, my goal was to have the full splits. I found your videos at the end of December and today I finally got my full right leg split without experiencing any pain!! My left leg split still needs a little work but I just want to thank you, you’re such an inspiration and your active stretches were the best thing that happened to me. Those static stretches out there weren’t helping me at all! Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️

Hey ummmm Alicia, I just wanna tell you that because of this tutorial of yours I can do backbends more easily now. Prior to that, after 1 week of being comfy in doing backbends, I tried to do a scorpion pose, like the ones in gymnastics, and I got it on my first try and yes my legs were straight when I did it. Thank you so much Alicia. Love yah and keep up the channel. I love your make-up style btw. ❤️❤️❤️

Before I really couldn't do a backbend. I did, but I struggled and used the wall for a good 2 weeks until I cam upon your video. After just 1 week of watching your video, I just finished it and I decided to comment saying this video is very effective and helped me in ways that I just want to say thank you. I was doing my back bend and without the wall or nothing, I got into my backbend and was very excited. To anyone who wants to achieve their backbend, the video may be long, but it comes with excellent results. Here's how my schedule is:
    - Watch the video daily, for me, I watched is Monday-Thursday, took a break Friday and Saturday, and watch the video again Sunday. (Aka today for me.)
    - After each video, make sure to drink water to stay hydrated. Eat healthy as well, that may be hard so eat at least 1-2 fruits/vegetable every other day.
    - Before watching this video, I have a stretching app called "StretchingExcerise" where I do a 5 minute stretch before beginning.
    - Recommend stretching after the video to not get back pain.
    - If it's hard, don't stress, try your best and it will get easier!
    - Take at least 1 break during the video
    - If you're a beginner at this or don't have flexibility yet, I recommend looking for a RUclips video or go on kinky sweat page for a video to work on your stretching for the workouts and stretch in the video can be easier.
    - Keep a positive mindset and don't rush your results, it comes with time.
Not everyone body is the same as mines and everyone progress is different, but try everyday in order to get that backbend! Again, thank you for this amazing video!

Oh THANK YOU ALICIA!! I am SO glad I found you! You are the only one who really took the time to go through so many different stretches and exercises to help with backbends for TRUE beginners! I got SO discouraged watching video after video of these ppl who CLEARLY don't know how to help someone with limited back flexibility... Well, either they don't know how or they don't care or have the patience. I don't care, because now you've given me hope! Thank you!! I'm going to try these for awhile and see if I can make some progress.

Finally somebody combining strength with stretching!! I cannot stand videos where they only hold static streches for 30 seconds and move on. That messed up my hamstrings because they got incredibly weak and resulted in tearing of the left hamstring. I was out for months! I didn't understand why it was so hard for me until I found out about the (quite obvious) connection from strengthening the muscle while streching. Great videos!!

Love the flexibility!!! I only wish I could do these things. Don't think I'm not going to try though. 😜 I just found out yesterday I have osteoporosis so I'm going to be trying EVERYTHING to strengthen these bones of mine. Especially since its unusual for someone under 50 to have an issue. I have a lot of health problems already but I try to stay active and eat clean and healthy. So let's see...

      @donwetherell8738 5 лет назад

JoAnna Johnson if you're eating dairy cut it out as its proven that it causes osteoporosis. Eat a mainly plant based lifestyle, lots of leafy green veggies. Stop eating sugary sweet foods or processed foods, the main thing you have to do is still try to get your daily recommended calories. Make yourself home made some soups, chunky vegan veg soups, then a salad then a starchy meal with potatoes, sweet potatoes, whole grain rice or pasta. Then add weights to your exercise regime and if you can get access to a power plate at a gym jump on one of those and combined your bones will become stronger. The main thing first is a really nutritional lifestyle, it's not a diet, it's a way of life, it's the best life for your body.

Don Wetherell not being rude at all because this was such a powerhouse post and full of knowledge. You wouldn't know that I've been plant based and living a healthy vegan food based diet for over ten years. People always assume that if you're unhealthy it's something YOU'RE doing. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed right after having children with various autoimmune diseases. Systemic Lupus, Sjogrens Syndrome, Raynauds Phenomenon, Fibromyalgia, Biliary Cirrhosis, and a Non Hodgkin's disease a bit later. With autoimmune diseases come inflammation and those diseases can attack ANY and EVERY body system including the bones. It has also attacked my reproductive system, my lungs, my nervous system, my digestive system and now my bones. I changed my lifestyle and way of living and eating BEFORE I was diagnosed because I had so many unexplained allergies and digestive issues. Cutting dairy and animal products was the first thing I did way back then. Refined sugars and processed foods was right behind that. So I appreciate your post. But illness and unforseen issues can happen to us all. We're imperfect. But I do the best I can and am blessed no less because of it. I hope someone else reads your post and finds the information helpful and informative. Like I said, there is a wealth of knowledge there and I don't want you to think I was unappreciative. I'm just already doing those things. 😊🙏💛

I am here for the kinkysweat ....I have started doing morning salutations and I have the flexibility of a wet bring, I think the entire group of muscles in the back of my legs are as tight as can be .... this looks like a great workout / flow ..... Congratulations on your obvious Gentilics Lottery Win ; )

Hey Alicia! I managed to muscle my way through this (typical cheerleader 🤦🏾‍♀️😫). Which is why I’ve made it a 2019 goal to properly go through the motions and not just throw myself around. Where can I purchase the blocks from? I’m going to definitely need them lol. Great video

Thank you, Amber! Amazon has them as well as Manduka, Yoga Hustle, and Gaiam is sold at Kohl’s! Yes, it’s important to stay in the moment right before it becomes too intense. Little by little!

when you are not hyper flexible of the shoulder and back, is it possible to really progress in the wheel? I can do it but not very beautiful and elegant because of my lack of natural flexibility.

Simple and best professional video no even 1 mistake but I will suggest u too to make video under 7 minutes or divide into two parts for example 1 video but part one and part 2 so ur viewers have to watch ur next video and they time and net will be saved in downloading and quickly keep it up great job
