It almost look like you could use the old shield as a template for the base, and mark the tall up on the bottom about 3" off with something like a router. Then it might even clear the handlebars.

Congrats on the win on that windshield man! I did a couple videos on my channel as well but they were of the 6.5 inch, had to buy mine though haha. I looked into purchasing the 8.5 and with me being 5'8"-5'9" I'm glad I went with the 6.5 to be able to still see over it. Sizing yourself up definitely comes in handy when having to order a piece like this and having to guess right on the money. But MAN they look GOOD! Great video! Take care and ride safe!

It did look really good but it was to tall. I even tried it again after getting another seat cause the seat did sit me higher but it still didn't work. Let me know how it works for you🤙🍻🍻
I’m about to loose my mind trying to find the one windshield that will cure the buffeting but also shields me and my passenger well. I have the 6.5” and i love it one of the few keepers. I have 14” factory 47s on my road glide but they are parallel with forks . No forward lean. Would they still hit the corners on this 10” Memphis shades shield? Thanks!
I hear ya kinfolk, windscreens and seats are so hard to find the perfect one. So i actually had already pulled my bars back a lil cause from the factory they were In line with the forks and that was to much of a stretch for me so unfortunately yes they would still hit the 10in windscreen. @@KnucklesTvMV thank you for responding. I looked everywhere for some photos or info. Google photos …youtube… harley forums etc. still couldn’t find much info on 10” screen. I have 6.5” myself and from several I tried it is my favorite one so far as far as looks and functionality. Looking at few photos the angle seems really swept back compared to other brands of shields and if anything the 10” seems to go deeper towards the rider’s head more so then up compared to 8.5 . I found great deal on new 8.5” for 116$ shipped so Im gonna try that. Currently trying Madstad… that thing is way overhyped for 300$ and While I could get over the ugliness for longer trips it doesn’t seem to help the buffeting anyway 🙄. The more I go down the seat/ windshield rabbit hole more I wish i got something like goldwing for longer trips 😂
Damit . You said it was 11in ? I have LRS long ride shield it's a 11in . I can see over mine the curve is not as much as Memphis shades. What you going to do with it
Knuckes, Brother sell that Memphis Shades shield and get yourself a Freedom Shield, get the sports one so you won't have any problems with your bars hitting them.
I don't promote Freedom Shield products in any way but I like their style and quality, it's nice is they let you try it first as long as you don't remove the protective film you can return it as many times as you want until you find the one you like. I went with the 12" sports shield cause I got some 15" bars on my bike and they fit perfectly. Also their product is much thicker than Memphis shades shields which is another plus.

Very nice man! I'm rocking with the 8.5 inch Ghost Memphis shades windsreen, I like how it doesn't distort my vision at the top since it transitions from smoke to clear. I have it installed on my last video if you want to check it out.

I just ordered the 10” for my road glide but I’m 6’2”. I was hoping that it would work for you because it look so darn good on the bike.

Looks like even 2 inches lower your bars will hit it. Take a look at Freedom Shields. They don't have as much of a sweep back. Love mine
