- According to research, more than 60,000 Black women and girls are missing in the U.S. Their families continue to complain about the lack of attention from law enforcement and the media to help find their family members. Yes we need news channel designated that caters national coverage for missing black people . We need to be the focal point and center of attention for a change. The spotlight is only given to us When we are falsely accused of something or when some of us is doing crap.

Yup remember the story of the white girl gone missing in the mountains and her boyfriend killed her then killed his elf it was all over the place on every news outlet and online it was last year sorry I can’t remember her name right now I’m white I have 3 biracial kids who can pass as all black and I got so angry the white girl got all that news coverage but a black woman and a black guy went missing the same time they got no news coverage it made my blood boil

"Ummm, there might be driving a black car", that's all the police get

I know the feeling. My brother has been missing for over 40 years. He left with some people that we didn't know. My brother was in his early 20's. Back then. A black man gone missing and if even found. Was not important. They sure did not report it or searched for family. When I did call the cops. I was told that maybe he doesn't want to be found. Until the early 2000 no one cared. Until I got a call back from a lady that saw my brother's info via internet. A site that I had posted my story. Now it is a waiting game. We gave our DNA. End of story.

Black women need to be more careful. I’ve never believed in walking by yourself especially if your a teenager/ women. Stop roaming these hotels by yourself it’s just not safe! 😢 even if you a teenager/ boy & man. I just don’t think anyone should walk by themselves.
