Digital Surgeon AMVs well to suggest (thought its kinda too late for that) mothers dreams can apply to Ruby goven that she wants to be a huntress like her mother. and fathers eyes. well you got me there but it can be for yang. then again its a mix of both her mother and father the purple is a mix between his blue eyes and he rmothers red eyes.

I imagine that Raven's eyes are from some permanent effect done to her by her semblance, so they gradually turned red as Raven used her semblance more and more, and that the same thing is happening with Yang, so Yang originally had blue eyes.
Team CVFY (Coffee), Team SSSN (Sun), Team RWBY (Ruby), and Team JNPR (Juniper) all need more screen time together in one place.

I know she didnt, and she probably didn't have a chance to go back for one, but I think Ruby should have held on to one of Penny's swords as a keepsake of her lost friend. It also could have served as a backup weapon. Imagine the scene: Ruby has Crescent Rose planted into the ground and she's firing at some Grimm, artillery-style. But an Ursa is creeping up on her, and her teammates are too busy to assist! The Ursa lunges!
And Ruby draws her Pennysword and Batman Backhands that sumbitch. Boom, one more headless Ursa.
Bonus points if she converts CR to an automatic reloading system so she can fire it one-handed when it's anchored, that way she can fold the Pennysword in half and fire laser bolts alongside her rifle shells.
Y'all missed a golden opportunity, Miles'n'Kerry.
