Ahhhh, the memories!! I used to fly here a lot back in the mid 1970's...couldn't ask for a better aight for just cruising around or just tearing up the sky.
Looks like it's hard to get down - you're essentially landing on the takeoff slope. Does anyone ever land downwind/uphill (ie "fly on the wall technique)?
A floater would be about 190 square feet, 85 kgs plus 10 kilo harness puts you in the middle of the weight range for a 190 . Intermediate probably a 165, and when its strong my 160 is more than enough .
Nah just have a tandem first , I don't like standing on the edge of a building but this is totally different , took about 10 minutes to get used to it , hanggliders are very strong and have lots of safety features, also you have a parachute so the peace of mind helps . Unless you have full on vertigo you will be good with the heights
how many cameras do you carry, or do you just have loads of flights and move the camera around? mark ps great video, pps I got a new Malibu! vids to come
One go pro on the keel or crossbar and one on a swivel gimbal mount on the basebar , just a go pro 6 and 9 . Looking forward to the vids and see ya next year at rainbow 🌈

I'd say it's been done but I hadn't seen it , it's just a good place to practice top landing , base bar is the way to get it down .
Yep, see you next year for sure,,, Hope the toes have healed up ok this time. How many days did you get in?
Two up north but flew on the way there and back
If you weighed 85 kg.; What would be a perfect wing size for you? ( Are there other factors for measuring up for a "Just Right" fit ?)

Hey mate, is a fear of heights common, can someone do the course first and start smaller before doing a tandem?
