Thanks so much for making this video! I just received my beautiful, brand new Rein 3.0 today! And because I’m a woman, I like to read the directions, (& watch setup/troubleshooting videos) BEFORE trying to use my new products! 😆 So while my battery charges for the first time, I’m here, learning how to setup my awesome new light! Thanks so much! I love your lights!!🤩💕🙌
Had the battery jack back off on me after only about 100 roinds through my rifle. Pulled it out and loctited the threads. Hope itll stay in place now because i love what this light can do its just that battery jack has been a problem for me since i got it
Not sure what you mean? The Rein is a weapon light that includes both a push button and remote switch. If you need a handheld light we have the MCH and MCH Duty line which excel in that role and fully programmable.
@@CloudDefensive I must have misunderstood. It sounded like he said that you can buy a tail cap switch separately. Are you saying that I can leave the wired portion out of the assembly and use the tail switch that came with it? I don't intend to use it as a WML. Thanks.
Most unnecessarily difficult weapon light to instal. 😂 How the hell do you get the end cap back on? And there is absolutely no way cable management is considered functional with this pressure switch.
@@venturewise6662 No, not at all. All generation switches have integrated cable management. Wasn't sure which switch you had so thought maybe the new install video would help. The 1st/2nd gen switches shown in this video are a bit more difficult during initial setup, but once set you never have to worry about it. If you have the older style switch, watch this video if you want to use the cable management. ruclips.net/video/C5spLVyluLw/видео.html
how could you possibly be confused by this? There's literally only one way that the light can be assembled. You could figure it out just through trial and error
@@venturewise6662 no offense man, but after reading your comments, I don't think you have the mental capacity to be a firearm owner, especially not a rifle, since I assume you bought this for use on a rifle
If you're here because your battery died and you struggled for about 30 minutes, go ahead and hit that like button. I think it died quick because the jack was loose and must have wiggled some, time to grab a fresh battery n have a backup
My rein micro came with no instructions on how to install it to my rifle. My light works but I don't know how to attach it to my rifle. Ideally I'd like to fix this before jihad Friday kicks off so that I have a fighting chance of defending my family. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
in the box your light came in, there's a card that has a QR code you scan with your phone camera and it loads the instructions for you. Or you go to the website they have listed there manually
I literally cannot mount the rein 3.0 with the mlok mount included. You either attach the mount to the handguard first or the weapon light to the mount. Once you do either one, you can’t do the other because the weapon light is in the way of the mlok holes. Do it to the other way, you can’t attach the weapon light because the holes for the weapon light in the mount are blocked by the handguard l. Makes no sense
You need to unscrew your tailcap housing. That way you can access everything with no issue. 1. Remove tailcap 2. Install Rein to inline mount 3. Install the Rein/mount assembly to you rifle. 4. Reinstall tailcap This video should help you out. If you have any questions let us know. ruclips.net/video/3E-M1IiQFuc/видео.htmlsi=YHAMhaJq_QFhH0WQ
how is everybody in this comments section so unbelievably dumb af. Dude, it's not that hard. Like I told that other guy in the comments, I don't think you have the mental capacity to be a firearms owner if you get stumped by stuff like this
Yeah…… I’m sure it’s a great light but this disabled veteran just had a bad experience with cloud defense customer service. I don’t know about you all but I just don’t do business with folks that disrespect veterans
Lmao what is it with you guys making military service your entire identity 😂. It’s so odd to me. “How dare you disrespect me! I’m a disabled vet!” It’s so cringe.

What keeps the battery jack from loosening while shooting?

Thank you for the valuable info. I just received my REIN 3.0 and I was losing my shit because the light wouldn’t turn on. This video helped! 😂
This fixed it thanks
Your 2.0 micro lights are awesome. I have two of them and they seem to weigh next to nothing on my Mk18s!
I have power when I hit the main button but on my pad nothing comes on
Please reach out via the contact form on our website and we'll be more than happy to diagnose/fix whatever may be causing your issue.
So, I have to buy a separate tail switch if I don't use it as a weapon light? Maybe that's why it was included free with another purchase.

Try our updated install video. The end cap threads directly on due to the modularity, ruclips.net/video/bkYu57R4Kbw/видео.htmlsi=dzpYN18RLNQfKKvl

I just placed an order for the 3.0. After watching this video I will cancel it. Way too many parts, too many things to go wrong.

My tail cap housing is extremely tight; I can’t get it off. What’s up with that?
Is the Valhalla Baldr Rein Micro compatible with the new 2.0?
