- We chat with Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl and Nate Mendel as the band prepare to release their new horror movie, 'Studio 666', in cinemas February 25. They tell us about getting into their acting roles and the metal soundtrack that accompanies the film. Always love seeing Nate with Dave. Nate has been so loyal to the Foo Fighters since day one. Dave grabbed him first when he had to create the band.
This was such a great interview. So sad they had no idea exactly one month later they would lose Taylor and their lives would change forever.
So many of us would have loved to have seen them keep playing as long as the Rolling Stone, but they got to live out all of their rock 'n roll dreams in their 28 years together. So glad they made it into the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame while Taylor was still alive. RIP Taylor
Studio 666 was a really fun movie. I enjoyed it, and Dave was damn good as usual. Also, Rest In Paradise Taylor Hawkins, you will be greatly missed.
