@@MoviesinDepth yeah their dad retires and leaves heaven to lucifer’s brother amenadil. Well technically he lets the angels decide among themselves who would take over and that was a whole thing on its own.
@@MoviesinDepth heh at least the series didn't end at 5th season finale, which was original plan during much of that season's production because it had Lucifer and his twin brother Michael, battle for God's Throne
The 6th season was Lucifer slowly realizing he didn't want to be God at all and mend the relationship of his time travel daughter

Fun fact: Tom Ellis is British. At first they tried Lucifer to speak with american accent, but everyone thought he sounds like a douche, so they stayed with his normal accent. Little spoiler warning - in later seasons they introduced Lucifer evil brother and playing him, Tom was speaking with american accent. It suited pretty well :D
Wrong, he's actually a Wallander...so the American accent is his normal and British an act :)

Lucifer is a really unique show and the fact that it can bring a rollercoaster of emotions to its audience with only one episode like that is simply amazing and it speaks valumes of the shows' qualities (awsome cast for characters, staff, writers and their storyline...everything was just a top-notch in this chef kiss😘👌series).
I will never get tired of re-watching the whole series again and again🥰
This show can do both in less than 10 minutes

@@MoviesinDepth But you also bypassed a lot of fun. The storywriters did a very good job with the show Lucifer. Every side character got some episode dedicated to him, too. By not watching the full show, you'll miss a very well constructed universe. And of course, the Godess. 🙂
Love that you did this. And I love that you felt the emotions during the finale without even having watched the rest of it. My sister and I binged the entire final season when it dropped and I was a sobbing mess during the last couple episodes. And yes, definitely watch the entire thing. There is plenty that will make sense about the finale if you watch the rest. Lol.
RUNDOWN: Lucifers brother had a kid with the therapist and became god after their dad (actual god) retired with their mom to a dimension of their own. The guy eating waffles at the end is Chloe's ex and baby daddy who died the season before (french guy killed him), got stuck in hell which made Lucifer realize the system is broken so once he was able to help dan get to heaven he decided to help everyone else. Chloe and Lucifers kid was basically pissed that she had an absent dad (who didn't show up even when Chloe was on her death bed) and travelled back in time to try to kill him and then they became besties and decided this all happened for a reason. Rory would have been a completely different person if Lucifer had chosen to stay

you sir are crazy for this one because this show deserves to be watched in full not just the pilot and series finale so hopefully at some point you redeem yourself on your own time by watching all 6 seasons to get the full lucifer experience😈other than that can't wait for the next video and might i suggest possibly a reaction to beyond the lights (2014) & fear (1996)
“The more complex the people are, the harder it is” not thats not it at all😭 there’s like a whole plot around Luci not being able to read Chloe’s mind and his vulnerability around her. Like a whole legit reason.

So basically the significance of the streets are that the previous episode, we find out that their daughter says that’s the day her father aka Lucifer disappeared and was last seen on those streets and was never seen again. No one knew why and we think it was because he died but then that guy took his daughter and is holding her hostage at that street… that’s the significance
Watching more than two episodes would have helped me there

yeah so amenadiel, Lucifers brother, did end up becoming god lol long story, and Daniel was chloe’s ex husband from the first episode, the whole first season he was terrible but you end up really appreciating him by the end :’)

@@MoviesinDepth Yea, you REALLY need to watch the show. The play on morality, ethics, religious philosophy (mainly Christian), and relationships in all aspects is quite captivating. In season ..., there will be tears.
Lucifer is such a good show! For the second episode, it was his brother, but he also became god. There was a plot line where their dad wanted to retire.
I hope you know I can only watch half of this video bc i am a normal human being that doesn't want to spoil for herself an excellent tv show...

(for anyone who did not watched s6)
It was the place when Lucifer was suppose to die. In s6 we met Lucifer and Chloe daughter - Rory. The thing is that she came from the future where she grew up without Lucifer so she told them what Chloe said to her about it - that he died at 10th and Swanson. So so he avoided this place, especially on the day Rory thought he was going to die, but then Rory was kidnapped and it turned out that she was held in these streets.
I haven't even finished this show yet but I'm willing to spoil it for myself

This show was freaking amazing and I'm glad that you said that you were going to go back and rewatch the show cause i was literally searching for someone who had just started watching and then when i was like you oh yes I'm here for this and then when i saw that you were only watching the first and last i was like omg no he can't do this. He would've gotten so many new followers if he did the whole show and omg you can't do that on a show so epic like Lucifer that was canceled and saved by netflix and then saved again when netflix was going to end it but u did and i can tell that u liked it. Yes that was Amenadiel he's God now lol but omg i hope you go back and watch it. The problem is that you saw this whole show as "The Devil, source of all evil"... but you need to watch Lucifer as in Samael The first Archangel son of God, keeper of hell, the guardian of hell!

The whole essence of the character Lucifer is that he isn't actually evil incarnate, he punishes evil. He's just an angel that was assigned to watch over hell and torture the souls of the damned.
