Thank you for your clip. I rank PL 5 stars now and I needed some key plays to take Diamond level. Your tips are very simple but strong and essential. I am sure they help me to have a higher rank!
Pressing your buttons with intention is something you taught me that helped me hit masters. Instead of just mashing, I’ve gotten more optimal routes down on abare!
I had the shimmy down and it got me to Diamond 5 in early December. After that, I went on a massive losing streak. I dropped all the way down to D3 again. Your first drill is what I need to work on because a lot of my opponents jump over me when I have them trapped in the corner. But I fail to properly do a DP and get my pressure going. Your video was helpful to watch. I hope to get back to D5 and hopefully Master this year.
Great shit. The hold forward on throw is a no brainer that I wasn't using. I do it for AAing after fireball but didn't think to use it during throw. I raw DR jab in neutral an adequate amount but I forget to rotate the shimmy option which should help me a ton. I'm very poor at rotating my options and trying to get better at that. And for some reason I drilled the hell out of Parry OS a long time ago. I am always surprised more people don't do it
