Your point about dedicating our lives to Christ, I thought about schooling for the ministry when I was around 50 years old but didn't want to give up my business to do so. Now I'm 73 so it's kind of late, but I'm serving as a Sunday school teacher, Elder, church council, small group leader and a reader of the Old testament and the Epistle readings. The last week I was tempted to drop most or all positions because of health issues. Fortunately I heard your teaching and for me to drop out because of health issues you and the Lord bring me back. Praise God.

Thank you for your teachings. Question for you- regarding verse 18- you point out that Hannah believed the promise of God. Do you think she had a promise inwardly that isn’t written or do you think she was accepting Eli’s blessing as the promise from God?
Great question. There is no Indi cation that Hannah received an internal "word from the Lord", but that may have been the case. We just don't know. We DO know that she received Eli's blessing.
