You should do what you enjoy more, I am incredibly thankful for your language-learning content, but I also enjoy every single vlog you post! don't overwork yourself
I love this style of vlog and the longer length. It's comforting to watch; it feels natural and intimate in a 'slice-of-life' kind of way. I love your language related content, but I honestly look forward to videos like these more - I think they help me de-stress 😂. I also just like listening to people's stories like this; the daily chestnuts of life.
Really enjoyed this kind of slice-of-life video! It felt very natural and didn't feel that long, even though it was almost 40 min. Also, I know you mentioned your skin was acting up again at the end, but I was actually thinking how amazing both your skin and makeup looked throughout the video, especially the first day (your eye makeup was *chef's kiss*). Hope you're enjoying your summer so far as we head into the dreary rainy season.
Girl~~ It was originally so much longer but I was like "natalia... no.. stop.. cut things out" 😂😂🤡 I would have still preferred for this video to be at least 10 minutes shorter, but here we are ahaha Omg ahahahah thanks~ It's because when I took my acne medication daily, I would have literally 0 breakouts. But after just a week being off of it, I started breaking out again 😓😓 That's why I said it was bad ㅠㅠ But thank you for complimenting my makeup and skin ahahahah And yes, best of luck to us both with all the upcoming rain ☔️
I just found and subscribed to your account yesterday; I found your videos while learning more about Korea. I recently started learning Korean but began losing motivation after finishing Hangul and trying sentence structures, you're videos are so inspiring, thank you so much for helping me reignite my motivation!!
I know exactly how you feel. I remember when I first started learning Korean grammar and was like “Will I ever be able to learn this 🫠🫠” But I just needed more time and exposure to the language. I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it!!!
this video could not have come at a better time. i just changed my major to pr/advertising, and i've been watching a ton of videos about careers in marketing/advertising. if you wanted to make a whole video about your job title, how you got your job, your salary (if you're comfortable), your major in college, if it was relevant to your current career, and what your daily tasks are like (which you basically already covered in this video but still), then i would TOTALLY watch it.
As someone whose on the self employment route I feel you on days going on my savings. Thanks for sharing vlogs like this with us Natalia. That’s cool you got to some Kpop events. I finished the 6 months medication for my acne a month ago & it has went down a lot! I hope it stays like this because I’m tired dealing with adult acne. The US unfortunately hasn’t had the best dermatologist advice for me lately.
I like both content but for me vlog is more fun. It's enjoyable, even how you share your daily life even (if) it's not too special to share but i still find it enjoyable (sorry if I make it sound weird, english is'nt my first language 😅). Your language learning content is helpful, your vlogs are fun. I like both! You can always do more vlogs if you want 🥰 do what you want & you don't have to force yourself if you don't feel like doing it 🌟🤍
This was such good vibes, thank you for making videos 😊 Even when you talk about topics that might make one feel down, it's still all good vibes and I love it. Good luck with your medical adventures, I feel your stress. Fighting! 👏🏻👏🏻
You vídeo are never that long, they are great I have learn a lot of different things thanks to you, and because of your information I’m planning a vacation to Korea.
I'm glad you like them~ haha I like to try and share little tidbits of information in my vlogs, so I'm happy to hear that you noticed/remembered some of what I've shared 🤍
Hey just a heads up, you can’t deposit foreign earned income into a U.S. Roth IRA. If you’re marking your sponsorship money as US earned income then you can, but investing your Korean income could result in problems with the IRS down the line. You can invest your foreign income in general accounts, though. Just not IRA.
I use accutane and the results are quick and amazing but wayyy too strong for me so I cut down the dosage to like 10mg per 2-3 days and it works perfect without any side effects.
I hear ya on the acne struggle. I've had acne every day since beginning of August back in 1995. I will say it is better now that I use K-beauty products than when I was using American drug store products, so there is that.
Natalia, eat healthy, get exercise, take a multivitamin, 1000 mg of vitamin C per day, and yes, get sleep. Adulting is rough but you will make it. Not for nothing but my goodness you are just radiantly beautiful...inside and out. Love from Houston -- always routing for you....
heyy, If you are still very tired and stuff - then maybe look up ADHD. I know the symptoms are different for women than men. I just got diagnosed myself a few years back, and I just recognised some of the things you mentioned. Even if it is not ADHD some of the tools to help with ADHD could still maybe be helpful to you? idk just a thought, anyway love your video :))))
These I my fave type of videos of yours! 🤍 Love long chatty vlogs! Aaaand omg I feel you. A year ago I switched from freelancing to a full time job (also in a marketing team) and I’m constantly tired 😅
Ahah I'm glad to hear you like my chatty videos~ I feel like they're more real (?) but, at the same time, it's very easy for me to get too chatty aahaha Omggg freelancing is great in that you have more control over your schedule, but, at the same time, work isn't guaranteed ㅠㅠ I feel like when I was just doing RUclips, I was way less tired even though I was working more than I currently do at my FT job ahah
@@NataliaGarza the youtubers I watch - I watch for their personalities/what they have to say, so it’s never too chatty for me! 🤍 And it 100% feels more real I miss freelancing! I though that having a full time job would be less stressful (exactly because work/money is guaranteed) but then the company I work had to fire a bunch people a while back - so yeeaah somehow still stressful + tireing aaahh
Adulting and the working life in general is so so hard, I feel you ❤ I just started a new job and bro…. it’s literally consuming me 🤡 Hope you’re okay, and taking care of your mental health! Aaaaaand great video, always love your vlogs!
Adjusting to work life or rather re-adjusting to work life is harder than I expected. I don’t remember being this tired back when I was working in the USA, but then again that job and work environment was very different 🫠🫠 best of luck to the both of us I’m not letting out jobs eat us away
i feel you on being tired all the time! I have an office job too and it's so bad I actually talked to my dietician about it, and she said that maybe it's because I need more sunlight? She said going for a 15-30 minute walk outside during my lunch hour might help
I really appreciate these types of videos. I hope you consider making more free-form vids like this. You have a wonderful presence! Please rest well these days
Would you try quitting coffee to balance your hormones? I think this is one of the least spoken topics. Coffee messes up with deep sleep (metabolic sleep), so a lot of the hormone balancing that needs to happen when we’re sleeping doesn’t happen. So caffeine doesn’t mess up with your hormones directly but indirectly. Phase it out slowly to avoid withdrawal symptoms, but once your body is out of caffeine it will help with acne, hormones, tiredness and essential vitamin absorption. I’m glad I didn’t grew up drinking coffee and only took that up during the pandemic, it messed up my sleep/hormones, etc.Alcohol does the same but for the most part rarely people drink a few cups a day. Give it a try, it might surprise you.
For the acne, I can totally relate to you, I'm just like you, I was on accutane twice and it kept coming back every single time to the point where I didn't know what to do anymore. And as a 25 year old I felt super insecure and no dermatologist was helping me, they all told me to go back on accutane, which got me desperate. Until I read about hormonal acne and hormonal imbalance 4 months ago. I did some research on gut health and the microbiome. I have been taking a probiotic powder, recommended to me by a naturopath, called omnibiotic6 everyday and omg my hormonal acne is now gone. It is truly a miracle !! So maybe you should consider taking another path than accutane because it will likely come back after, its a temporary solution. Also I know that Korea is big on supplements and gut health as well as probiotics, so you should really consider this option. I hope this helps you :)
Natalia, you know doing sponsored stuff is fine -- lots of us look to you to get a sense of neat things out there that we should try and we trust your judgement -- I would rather pay attention to an ad from you rather than some random ad out there on the internet...
I think it is good that you are considering your subscribers when thinking about the content you make and publish. However, worrying too much about it is going to drive you crazy, if it hasn't already. The name of your channel is based on your name; that means the content is about YOU. If your channel was called "Learn Korean with Natalia", then I could understand more if people were upset that you posted more personal/casual style videos. Even then, it's your personality that makes people stay and keep coming back. If you hide your personality, who you are, and how you live, what makes you different than an AI created video? Also 20:14 💙🥰 Okay back to what I was saying, 😆. I, along with others, just want you to be happy. Do what fills your heart with joy (as long as it doesn't hurt anyone). Happiness is a journey; it's not a destination. So if you continue doing what brings you joy, you will always be filled with happiness.
Loved this vlog BTW -- really appreciate you making the extra effort to bring us along with you and see the reality of your life. As an older fan I will never get the chance to do what you are doing -- and when I was younger let's just say it was not an option at all. So it is so neat to at least get to see Korea through your eyes -- some day I'll get there for a couple of weeks for the experience -- but life responsibilities and bills will not allow that for quite some time...anyway, thanks again...
33:43 I don't know if it's available in Korea but there is a supplement called DIM (diindolylmethane) that has worked better for me than accutane. Pls make sure to get your kidneys regularly checked on the accutane 💜
I really enjoyed everything about this vlog! Also, as a Taemin fan I fully support your friend buying a SHINee lightstick for that reason (I did!). The second Suga poster doesn't give me Dracula vibes; it makes me think of a K-drama where the lead girl is in trouble, and then Suga just steps out of the shadows and asks WTF the person bothering her thinks they're doing. (And then it cuts to the freeze frames before the credits roll)
Your acne looked really good at the start of the video! It's unfortunate that you're gonna be on accutane again. I did my course of accutane for abt 4 months and it worked well, but now it's like on and off again, so I understand how you feel. Good luck with the marketing job and the acne!
It's so nice seeing you grow from being a student in Korea to working fulltime!
I’m glad I was able to work here after being a student 🥹🥹

21:48 "during the vlive- omg am i an idol" LMFAOOO that took me out! but im finally getting used to calling it welive instead of vlive hahah
