Best full ship tour of the Prima. Thanks! Cruising in the Haven HE class end of November. Have used Haven in maybe 6 cruises on the Breakaway class ships.
You mentioned the Haven Courtyard is 16+. We called to understand the 16 years and up and they said that was for deck 17 sundeck, not the whole Haven Courtyard area. This is misleading in the video.
Terrific video. Best ship tour I have seen so far. As a non American, I had a chuckle at Starbucks being an extra cost. The stuff tastes like dishwater. I can't imagine even getting it for free. I guess it's a U.S. thing. Looking forward to other walkthroughs.
Great video tour, as always. It is a beautiful ship and many of the new offerings are great. We are booked on the Prima in Feb, but we are a little deterred about the increasing spaces being converted to "extra charge" venues (race track, VR zone, expanded Vibe and Haven). Also, we've heard that darts are 40 dollars per 50 min. Yikes. We are also feeling nostalgic for the atrium entertainment hub/screen on previous ships. Despite the addition of the pools and seating on deck 8, the small size main pool deck is my spouse's main worry. She is concerned that it will be too shady, that there will not be enough seating and that traditional pool entertainment will not be offered on the main pool deck. We understand the first few sailings are cooler climates and so this issue may not be present yet. It will be interesting to see the reviews from passengers when the Prima starts sailing the warmer Caribbean climate. Curious, what your take on these changes?
@@Eatsleepcruise1 You didn't answer their question. He asked you what you think about all of Norwegian's extra charge venues likw the racetrack, etc? I personally think it's like the airlines charging extra money for your luggage, to pick your seat, to board early etc Yeah, SO MANY people have gotten SOOOOOO GREEDY!!😕☹️
We just sailed on the Prima June 2023 from South Hampton to Iceland. I have over 365 days at sea and this is the first time I really disliked the layout of a ship. Most venues were small and especially the buffet. Never enough room for everyone to sit but the food quality was very good. There was no flow to the ship and you always seem to hit a dead end and no where to go. Staff were great and it is unfortunate that they plan to build more ships like the Prima😮.
Wonderful video, congrats! It seems that NCL is adjusting itself to run out of the Carnival/RCI/MSC/Costa lines mainstream (4* European land hotel) experience standard to something more akin to the X/Princess Premium (European 4*+ land hotel) experience standard. It will be curious to see how they will manage that on the older ships, some of them really not that old enough for a facelift.
@@colleenschulz6576 NCL has a pretty substantial kids program. Broken down by ages. You can even arrange for them to be cares for while you enjoy a late dinner and drinks.
@@colleenschulz6576 NCL can be terrific for kids. The programs are very personalized, however I think the channel guide here is saying the Prima is geared more towards adults / teens, the little ones might be better suited for another NCL ship with larger kids pool and slides
With everything on the ship, it should've been bigger. Everything is too small, and none of the activities are free. I'll stick to the larger ships, thank you.
Do you have plans to cruise on the new Norwegian Prima?
Not the prima, but once the viva is made we will probably sail her in the Mediterranean!
You will love the brand new class of NCL ship!
Yea, it will be my first time going on a cruise. Be sailing February 2024 out of Galveston, TX
Yep. Sailing on her out of Galveston on October 31st. Thanks for the video!
My brother and I are looking at a room on the 12Jan24 cruise on the Prima out of Galveston TX
PS: Booked on the Prima out of Galveston 12Jan23

We hope so too!

Thank you for the video.
Booked my dream Transatlantic on Prima Spain to NYC in 2023. 11 days Haven owners deluxe.
Thank you again
Going on this cruise..Concerned no comments that people had a great time..I would think lots of people have
Great video!! Very informative. We’re sailing on the Prima in January and the Viva in October!!
Thanks. Glad you found the video helpful.

Looks amazing! Thanks!
I see the casino has a glassed in area for those VIC people! Very Important Coughers! In the smoking area!
Nice video. We'll be on the prima in April.
Do I detect a bit of long Island in your voice?
Going on this ship april 23 to bermuda from NY.
I am new to this CL. We have done 4 Disney cruises. So this NCL prima is so different. Can you explain if pop and alcohol are included?
If you get the free at sea, yes they both are.

The ship layout takes some time, especially if you are familiar with other NCL ships.
I want full ship tour of msc armonia

What is the Cost of the "Wave" water slide?
It’s free. Thanks for watching.
we booked for February 2024 out of Galveston. I really don't see anything much for little ones though. Might have to re think it. Any thoughts?
How old are your kids? We agree if they are on the younger side, Prima might not be the best. Yet, its great for teens.
@@Eatsleepcruise1 they will be 2 ,3 & 8. Who would you recommend for a cruise for littles? Besides Disney

@@Eatsleepcruise1 yeah it's nice to see amenities without crowds, but reality is a full ship!
@@rgruenhaus have there been any videos during a regular commercial voyage with full passenger fares?
Wish the restaurants had real sausage links and not heat n serve.
I just got off this Cruise they were not a lot of black people does anybody know why
Why is that a question?
Dude...
🤷
Does this ship have a teen club?
Not a realistic video when it shows the empty ship
