Love this I did a similar style on my son for school. I need to try myself my hair has not been retaining length since it was falling out . Ima have to try your tips from your other videos also. Could you post more bun styles and moisture routines? I'm also low porosity similar texture

Love how neat your looks in a bun. I assume with this style you sleep on your side to preserve your hair. I really liked this style of video. Can you show us more protective and low manipulation styles for length retention? My protective style is 2 braids and I'm bored of it already. Thanks for the video and love your channel. 😍
Thanks so much for the support! I actually take the hair ties off at night and use a bonnet or du-rag to preserve the style.

Hi Jay, I know this is an old video, I just found your channel. I absolutely Love Love LOOOVE your hair !!! I do have one question: Have you ever found that the hair doesn't dry all the way under the hair tie? when I tie my hair up in a bun, for some reason I am always scared that the hair wont dry underneath and that will cause it to be damaged and break in the future. Would love to hear your thoughts :)
Hey! Welcome 🤗 as a my hair does take a while to dry. I use to take it out of the hair tie at night without taking down the braids or twist to give it a chance to dry! Hope this helps ❤

I saw major growth/ length retention when I left my hair in buns

Sn: I’m AF too so I know the struggle but do you ever have a problem doing a bun on wet hair? I feel when I do them, my hair dries super tight and pulls my scalp at the front of my head.
I only ever do my bun on wet hair and I never make it tight for that reason.
