So emotional, so soft and at the same time powerful, the building of the melodie (soft vs strong) is what makes it beautiful, the instruments together make this a good harmony and last but not least Ulrikkes amazing voice...as an music expert said..."Ulrikkes voice is the jewel in this work".
I loved ‘Monster like me’ too. That was such an amazing entry. This year I watched the MGP final for the first time and I thought it was very entertaining. I had several favorites but in the end I think the best entry won. I love this song a lot and she is an amazing singer. The staging indeed is already Eurovision ready. I love it.

The song is about going all in for things or a person to get the attention from someone soecial, maybe you are in love and doing CRAZY THINGS, LOSING YOURSELF, NOT BEING YOURSELF and all this what Ulrikke sings in the song. By the way her name is Ulrikke, not Ulrikky! The final E prpunces like E as in «Ever» . And yes, it's the same Mørland from 2015. He did also write Rebecca's song «Who we are,» from 2018, the runner up in MGP and took part himself last year. Christian Ingebrigtsen from A1 and Ulrikke wrote the song ss well. I'm hapoy that Christian Ingebrigtsen finally got the prize aftet being the runner up for x number of times now!

That's how I feel too with music that I don't like. I am incredibly happy that others find joy in a song even if I don't. That's what makes the contest special..there's something for everybody. :-D
I like the voice and the lyrics are meaningful, but i am not so sure i like the melody line. There is no "wow ", for me, nothing very special or emotional.
This may conflict with popular opinion . While she has great talent with her voice range I felt there was strain in her delivery . It did not flow natural to me . It makes me ponder to why this song fails to make an emotional connection to me even though she sang perfectly in tune . The melody is missing a mark in its composition but I can see why it would appeal to many fans .
