And all this for 22k? Wow. The rooms are very specious, upstairs vaulted ceilings are beautiful, tiling everywhere is perfect. Heating ,aircon, new kitchen and the bathroom, few cosmetic changes and this could be potentially very nice home or investment. Also the cantina and garage are very specious. This whole place is big. This is the best livable condition and largest space online in Abruzzo.

Well compared to the rooms of houses here in the United States all those rooms are way bigger even bigger then most master bedroom. Some of these rooms there could be turned into 2 or 3 bedrooms.
It’s true-European homes, especially in places like Italy or Spain, often have surprisingly large rooms compared to many homes in the U.S. It’s amazing to think how some of those rooms could be split into multiple bedrooms! That extra space definitely offers a lot of potential for customization, whether it’s adding more bedrooms or creating separate living areas. Sounds like you’ve found some great options!

It is an old system for anchoring roof shingles. It happens every now and then that there is a strong wind... But it's not always. 😊

There is nothing wrong with the price for the sq meters however, what's up with the electrical lines going from the pole to this house and then on to other houses? It would look a lot cleaner on the outside if all of that wiring was gone, paint, and shutters would be nice. It needs a kitchen installed. I'm not sure about the paint on the inside. It looks like it's in good shape. Also, the washing machine (and dryer) should be on the ground level. That way you can close the bathroom door, which is a good thing. Other than a few things, this place could be a good bargain. I hope it ends up being lived in instead of a poor man's B&B. The flooring is hideous but for the price what do you expect. Also, I wonder what the rest of the neighborhood is like? Obviously, it could stand for some green around the place. With about $15,000 U.S. dollars in upgrades and repairs, this place would be rather nice. Granted, my big concern would be safety in the area. I've always been curious while i'm watching all these old homes being published. They show fireplaces in the kitchen. This particular house has like 3 fireplaces. But I never see any chimney flues maybe i'm just not schooled in in antiquities. Where are the chimneys for the smoke?
