Well.... I think I've watched almost every Wisconsin foodie episode ever produced, and this was one of the most unique, unexpected, and genuinely real performances to date. Luke is an adventurous man, with too much personality to keep bottled up inside a singular human being. My favourite is still the episode where Luke cooked fresh fish by the riverside one evening, as I really wished I was there to share the moment, but eating all those burgers and jumping onto one's stomach cannot have been easy. Oh...to have been behind the scenes. Love it.
It all makes sense now. Was in Seymour last year at nephews basketball tournament and had a burger from the concession stand. Was one of the best burgers I’d ever had. No joke.
oh and can confirm, those burgers are tasting worse and worse for the contest year after year. I skipped competing this year just from feeling sick every year. I miss hardees thickburger contest there. Those were so great. glory days and all. Took 2nd in almost every year in the contests. They keep getting drier and prepped earlier and earlier. They just are not good anymore. Please make them within the hour and not 5+ hours of sitting since they make those contests burgers at 9am.

Not sure how I wound up getting this video as a recommendation but, here I am. Great video. Wisconsin for the win on burgers.
Props for participating in the festivities. You're a pro.
Lucky you went when you did they just announced they are no longer having burger fest.
Bill was my favorite charlie by far.
Salt the meat balls just before cooking on the griddle. Mixing salt with the ground meat would dry it.
Oh snap!
Bruh you put about as much mustard and ketchup as there is patty. Did you even taste the beef?

Lots of people are turned off by tatoos. Only a complete dunderhead would make a TV program that is certain to turn off lots of people.
