He was like a Z list villain before The Suicide Squad/ John Cena took the reigns. Now he has a lot of potential and flexibility to become a fan favorite character.

No your grubby neckbeard hands are not allowed even within eyegazeing distance of my BBQ helmet. No I will not elabrate any ferther on why I have helmat soley for when I have cookouts. Because you never asked to be invited to my world famous cookouts."
Peacemaker was 100% made for John Cena at this point. There is no-one else in the world who could have played the character in live-action and gotten it so spot on from the start.

There, he was going through a plain clothes phase, and he was mostly serious, with a few references to him having seen some weird stuff over the years. Seeing him like this is even funnier.
I have said it before and I will say it again we need more series of C-list superheroes instead of bad sequel, or bad adaptation of comic book event, when writers are given characters that no one knows they can remake them into great characters as no one will care that about that changes, giving them freedom to tell cool unique stories and even remake the character
