Sadly mocchi announced to be a SFL player a few months ago. That's why we haven't seen any of his replays recently. Hope he get back to GGST someday, best sol in the universe(just my preference). But I heard the he got more money in SF.
Throw already applies pretty heavy scaling on dmg and gravity, it'd be better to just use the knockdown afterwards to enforce mix and get a combo that'll use the meter to end or extend for a wallbreak
Most characters have auto timed okizeme after throw. If you are blocked and have meter you can rc into another pressure. This makes the opponent 25% or less possibility to block. And anytime enemy fails to block you start another oki or break wall to get extra damage and positive bonus. Of course it depends on the situation but I recommend to only rc after throw when opponent's hp is low enough to finish.
Mfw be like, slayer is op and then see nothing wrong with this sol gameplay (you can complain about slayer but dont act like hes the only powerful character in the game)
The reason people complain about slayer is the perceived ease of use and the consistency imo. He has easy conversions, 50/50s, and sheer damage to make people feel cheated when they lose or struggle. It’s hard to find a slayer that does something different from everyone else because there’s no need to if you do that much damage. Compared to Sol where the damage and combos feel more earned. It’s the bit of respect you feel when you get dogged because you know they had to work for it. Tl:dr : “WHAT THE FUCK THAT HIT ME??!?” Vs “Damn. He really rockin my sh-“
@Super0ofio I Don't own the dlcs so I never played slayer but as person who's played leo and sol. I do very little work to do 60% damage on either of those two characters. Strive is such gorrlia game that even after nerf slayer is bound to still be higher tier. I worry we get a baiken situation where because the player base doesn't want to deal with a defensive mix up character they nerf to the ground while lower tiers get buffed (anji) or high tiers stay on top. Aka I don't want slayer the lose he's identity of doing alot of damage, maybe change of scaling or something if you really don't like how much damage he can do. (Also I believe everyone has character that they hate for there own personal reason whether or not the character is good and mines is A.B.A)
@Bee-wk7hw I mean am not fan of his frame data on far slash. I think since this character get in option is like mostly one move (mappa punch) if he the slayer far away he's most likely gonna do the move and if he does close by give him the good old throw and pressure him. He doesn't have the best defense in the game so you can have him on the ropes.
@@angelguivas1862 Not having the best defense is the most overrated retort in this game. Oh no, he doesn’t have a 3f or 4f, it’d be shame if he didn’t have high health and guts to compensate for it so he has more chances to survive combos that would kill most other characters.
4:19 umisho going for the hardest read of the century clearly
Tatuma better look out cuz she is gunning back for that number one spot. I also wanna see Umi vs Mocchi someday

Why do these players never rc after a throw. Do they orefer having meter for something else? Not sure what the idea is

they already get oki off throw usually
Back to sol?
Sol is definetly Umisho´s main, May and Happy Chaos are her secondaries

@Bee-wk7hw I assure you, you can read and block his mappa punch and have chance of attacking, it's not like Gio Pressure
