Hello, Veggie boys, my wife and I (central VA) are ardent fans of your content. We really appreciate the way you guys and gals work together keeping a positive attitude. Warms the heart to see and actually rubs off onto us. Hopefully we can follow your path and gracefully enjoy life to the fullest. Cheers!
Peas make me nostalgic. I remember going with my Granny to visit her sisters in Arkansas as a child in the mid 1970s. Great Aunt Pearl had a little house with some land and a good size veggie garden. I vividly recall sitting on the big porch with Great Aunts Pearl and Myrtle and my Granny Opal shelling peas from a big bushel basket. One of them put an apron on me and taught me how to open the pods and slide the peas out. I felt like Laura Ingalls, lol, on the porch listening to the sisters tell stories and talk about their lives on the farm while filling a big wood bowl full of fresh peas. I'll always remember the blue skies, the lush green land, the feel and aroma of the peas, and the sounds of three rockers creaking while the sisters laughed like schoolgirls.
Fresh peas from the field are my favorite treat of the year, maybe 2nd only to the first heirloom tomato sandwich of the summer. Thanks for the great videos!
You might go broke the way Callie eats peas...but that sure was good for her. Your peas and broccoli sure look good, glad you are having a good harvest after the slow start.
Another awesome video. I would just put a bent wire in those Mums putting it over the water line. You don't even have to do each plant. Maybe every 5th plant. That will hold the water lines in position. God Bless you guys!
I love harvest videos. Those heads of lettuce are HUGE! The sweet corn always surprises me. Makes me wonder if Delaware got a lot more rain than you guys did in your fields that theirs was ready now. It's amazing that the sweet corn disappears so fast. Makes you wonder what you're missing, but I guess most people who have room for a garden know how good fresh picked vegetables are.
4:18 now that the plants are bigger why not zig-zag or zipper the water line. Going down the line, a plant on the left, and next on the right side. The plants will hold the lines in place. Watching you guys makes me miss the farm, love watching what you're up to
The heads of lettuce are just huge. I plant something every day, even if it is in my mind. In the ground would be better. Callie is getting so big. Love you guys.❤❤
Picking those peas reminded me of the years when my brother grew a nice garden and I would spend the day picking green beans. Bring them in and cook a big pot of them. Those were the days.
Andrew I Thank God for You; and Your Beautiful Family, Love!❤️👑🙌🏼🙏🏼🥰I Immensely Enjoy seeing All of You Joyfully working together; and ESPECIALLY Your little Sweetest Blessed Heart "Boss" Callie!!👸❤️🙏🏼Thanks A Million for Sharing; and May God Continue to BLESS; With Perpetual Success, In Jesus Name! 🙏🏼❤️👑🙌🏼🥰🕊
I remember my dad planting the corn, peas and squash together. The peas were ready by the 4th of July, the corn would be ready by late August, and the squash was ready by mid September. Love your videos. Keep doing what you do.
Brother a Trick from a Green House I worked at Back in the early 80’s we used Clothes line clip’s to keep the water line’s from being knocked off by there dozen cats that roamed the Green house’s at night looking for Mice and Mole’s….Keep up the Good work Veggie Boy’s and Girl’s….🤟🏻🤟🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I believe common denominator of everyone who views and comments are the appreciation of family and community..there is also the passion for healthy farm or backyard garden food..wherever we live..Andrew,,you do a beautiful job with this..as always..best wishes to all.
Hey Andrew, why not put stick in the dirt, maybe 2" down in the soil, on the potted mums capturing the black irrigation hose between the mum and the stick? Maybe a Popsicle stick, straw or chopstick would do the job? Even every second or third pot. That way with inspections you could assure the black hose is staying in place. Cheers!
Such incredible looking harvests, the crunch of that lettuce and the amount of work I don’t know how you all do it! I would love to grow peas that size. I must baby my garden too much. It would be interesting to know the varieties. You must have the right nutrients, variety and weather. We haven’t had only a half inch of rain since May in Z5a, WI Callie is so cute, she wanted to still help daddy. So much smoke yet, that’s awful. We burst out laughing when you said, ‘What’s better than picking peas in the morning?….” 😂😂😂. Loads of fun I’m sure😄
Did you get Glen the cow penned back up? Lol. I was the guy that let you know that we could see it loose from your market window on the Saturday before July 4th. Then you called me Glen when you thanked my wife and I for stopping by. I said "You can call me anything, just not late for dinner." My wife still laughs about it. Also that corn from. Delaware was awesome. I can't wait to get some of your corn soon. Thanks again for the awesome videos.
I am totally digging the texture of my pea leaves this year. That squeak is very satisfying. As usual, none if my peas are making it to the kitchen. My grandson loves them in the garden too
❤ Andrew I know you are not waisting broccoli leaves and it's fertilizer for the soil, but I'm sure cows or the horses would love those fresh leaves to chow down 😅😊maybe you already try that I don't know 😊😊
Great videos Andrew! How about a mum on one side of the water line and the next one on the side of the water line? That way the water line wouldn't come off the pot so easily. But hey, i'm just comenting from the cheap seats! Keep it up, you guys rock.
Callie is so cute eating her raw peas. Peas look fantastic! Know Nana and Grandad are happy to be visiting, they can see two daughters in one visit!😍 Keep videos coming!
Great video....quick question....couldn't you place some small sticks in each pot to anchor the water lines in the correct position? a basket of the loose straw could be used putting individual pieces to the front and back of the water line in each pot. A bit of work at the beginning but that'd be it (other than a quick check/run through).
We were there the day the Delaware corn came. Got a dozen, was delicious. Local and frequent your store often. Love the videos. We were there as your pulled in for lunch.
Andrew, Andrew, the vids are phenomenal! Ok, I’d like a bushel each of broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, kohlrabi, peas, all 3kinds, red lettuce, and 6doz corn, kale, and shard, Yahoo!!!
Just a thought for keeping the drip line in the mum pots...if you slid a take-out chop stick down the inside edge of every 3rd pot, it would stop the drip line from sliding off?? 🤔. Thanks for all the awesome videos! Sending a virtual hug 🤗
Good evening Andrew n everyone else hope your day has been great i have been busy. Canning green beans so just got done at 5 then had to get ready for church then came home n watching
Waiting for Oakley Farms here in Salisbury, Maryland to get the local produce. The fermentation barrel is waiting for the Kirby cucumbers to make half sours for the year. Hmmm, Delaware for sweet corn? Not sure, ours are just tasseling.
What peas are you growing that taste so sweet raw? Every time I watch you all picking and eating them, I would love to know what kind of shell peas they are.
Hello hello from south Houston Texas thanks for your videos tell your dad he is one lucky man with all the family United and he knows so much about farming what an intelligent man love your videos
Callie will be eating peas 😅😅😅😅😅 more then in the basket so cute. We our suppose to has server storms tonight unless they cancel it. I got small basket on green onions , and pickles , Roman lettuce .

Callie is the quality control boss eating the peas 🫛 so adorable ☺️
I don't think I have ever seen a child gulp down raw peas as fast as Callie the cutie does. You have a pea monster on your hands!
That is the best way to eat peas!
Right out in the garden!
It may be the ONLY way to eat peas.
Her Dad taught her well!
She learned from the best 😂
You’ll have to plant fall peas for Callie since she loves them so much!

Too funny when Callie is in the background you sound like Charlie brown's teacher...Woa Woa Woa 😂😂😂😂😂
She loves loves peas🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wise decision on your part as a daddy you don't want Callie out in the heat too much 😊
Fresh peas from the field are my favorite treat of the year, maybe 2nd only to the first heirloom tomato sandwich of the summer. Thanks for the great videos!
Hi Nana and Grandad! Glad to see you!
Daniel planted those extra Paes because he knew Cali loved to eat them.
Andrew, as Ernie Ford used to say, "Bless your little "pea-picken" hearts!
Hi to Lauren and Megan's parents, Nana and Grand Dad! I hope you are having a great visit.
You might go broke the way Callie eats peas...but that sure was good for her. Your peas and broccoli sure look good, glad you are having a good harvest after the slow start.
Hope you guys are having a great day!!! I got to harvest a bunch of peas and beans today!!

Godspeed Veggie fam. Callie needs her own pea patch in Grammies personal garden. . .
Andrew! Your the coolest dude!👌👍👍
The heads of lettuce are just huge. I plant something every day, even if it is in my mind. In the ground would be better. Callie is getting so big. Love you guys.❤❤
I might put a landscape staple over that drip tape to pin it down every few pots.
Picking those peas reminded me of the years when my brother grew a nice garden and I would spend the day picking green beans. Bring them in and cook a big pot of them. Those were the days.

Callie in the field means grandpa's pea profit is down 5% but he's loved 90% more
I remember my dad planting the corn, peas and squash together. The peas were ready by the 4th of July, the corn would be ready by late August, and the squash was ready by mid September. Love your videos. Keep doing what you do.

Sweet corn is from Vincent Farms in Laurel, De more than likely.
Andrew, I really like your channel and your family. And you guys are funny. Especially grandpa. God Bless you all for all you do. Very impressive!
Ooh, my heart sank to see all the broccoli leaves being chucked away! It makes a fantastic pasta sauce!

I just found your channel and watch in the evenings...love it...and wake up in a good, happy mood. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Hard work is paying off!!
Hi y’all!!!
Lots of PEAS! Beautiful harvest.
I am totally digging the texture of my pea leaves this year. That squeak is very satisfying. As usual, none if my peas are making it to the kitchen. My grandson loves them in the garden too
Callie is so precious!! I love that you are including us on her journey learning say words ❤

Harvest time 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I did a double take when you introduced "grandpa". 😂
Great videos Andrew! How about a mum on one side of the water line and the next one on the side of the water line? That way the water line wouldn't come off the pot so easily. But hey, i'm just comenting from the cheap seats! Keep it up, you guys rock.

Sliver queen corn from Delaware so sweet boy do I miss it.
We were there the day the Delaware corn came. Got a dozen, was delicious. Local and frequent your store often. Love the videos. We were there as your pulled in for lunch.
Squeaky peas! I love it!
You know if you put a wooden skewer near the drip hose it would keep it from blowing off then you could remove it when ready to sell
Worth watching just to see Callie! And you other married couples-we want some “grandchildren”!!! Lol. Blessing to you all!
Andrew, Andrew, the vids are phenomenal! Ok, I’d like a bushel each of broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, kohlrabi, peas, all 3kinds, red lettuce, and 6doz corn, kale, and shard, Yahoo!!!

You can stick a small piece of wood inside the pots (not all of them) to prevent the water tube from moving. Algeria
I would love to taste some of those fresh picked peas! Your red lettuce looks so good too!
I love this channel!! I learn something everytime 😊
Good evening Andrew n everyone else hope your day has been great i have been busy. Canning green beans so just got done at 5 then had to get ready for church then came home n watching
Your harvest has been great this year bye bye enjoy date nite
Watching you harvest peas, talk about tomatoes and corn when I am hungry is torture. Fan in Bozeman, MT
Those Heads of Lettuce almost look Like 👍 what we Buy at the Grocery Store. Coincidence, I Don’t Think so. 😬👍🙏
Just a suggestion: put a small U shaped wire in each pot around the watering line so you would have to adjust/check every day.
Eat it up Callie garden peas are the best ❤️🙏
I love fresh peas. Fresh right off the field.
Wow! You are really growing great food 😁
Enjoyed watching very much 👍👍

Good day all. Cally says " I wil smile for peas."
i eat broc stems. broc chopped up can and does make great slaw. like the idea of going out to the garden and getting what you need and enjoying fresh picked.
