- Camouflage was a local band for me when I lived in Germany. Great synth music that was reminiscent of Depeche Mode. While most people were playing their single The Great Commandment, I fell in love with this one.

Camouflage have a lot of good songs, but this is my favorite.

TheLightningMan ... Yes.. the 80's... a WONDERFUL TIME to live in Europe... I was at Hellenikon Greece.. and traveled too West Germany back in the days... and a few times, wondered up through Eastern Europe, into East Germany... then crossed over into the Western Sector of Germany...
A time when the world was so ALIVE! :)

@@Hagreaves Camouflage got their start in the late 70s or early 80s, and both DM and Camouflage were very much inspired & influenced by electronic music coming out of Germany & neighbouring nations during the early & mid 1970s. Of course, all bands of this era were also enabled & inspired by synthesizer technology that came from research scientists & electrical engineers in the U.S.A., the U.K., continental Europe, Australia, Japan, etc. So, I am sure that Dave Gahan would speak kindly of Camouflage, as they share a common musical ancestry that crossed many international borders.
