The local run down bar near the outskirts of town, you're favorite place to lay back and relax. You take a seat and order the usual. Across the bar, on the poorly made makeshift stage, the local beauty of the town makes her way up. She nods to the pianoman, and they start their grand, but homey performance. Cue, the video
everybody's calm and chill and just enjoying the place. it almost as if it was during the old times where there was older n more vintage things unlike now where it's so digital and high tech. how humans have rise forward.
It was just another evening. I walked along the dimly lit streets of Woodhill City, as the old lights twinkle like the stars in the sky. I cross the old bridge and see my reflection in the water. My face still looks the same, but I'm not the man I used to be anymore. I continue to wander, nowhere to go, then I hear a beautiful voice. It warms my heart, so I go nearer. Through the window, I see a slender figure with short purple hair and a dazzling black dress. That was when I fell in love... (All of this is fictional, even the cities and locations. I'm just an edgy high schooler with nothing better to do than write this whole ass paragraph. Thank you for reading.)
"Bartender, a cold one please." "You got it, sir," he says before he turns his focus away from you. You feel the weight of your job, love life, and family sleep heavily on your shoulders as you wait for your drink. Puffs of smoke escape from the man beside you, who is smoking a cigar as he stares at you.. or rather, at the stage behind you. "Here's your drink. Enjoy," the bartender says as he whips his attention to the group of men that are sitting a few stools away from you. You take a sip, then two, then three. Sweet memories of your youthful days begin to stir in your mind as you drown yourself with the bitter taste of alcohol. Then- just as you could ask for another drink -a soft voice breathes through the cold air of the bar, averting your attention to the stage. The lights shimmer like the stars, all upon a single woman. Although her dress was depressingly black, her mellow voice and hazy gaze had contradicted them.. stirring an odd feeling of nostalgia from within you. Her lips- which were painted with a glossy pink -parted as she sang, drawing you in like the tempting beauty of a flower. You could feel the rumble from your throat as you try to hum along with the song, only to mess up on the notes that were too high for you. It's not surprising since you were already on your fifth drink before she appeared. Hours had passed, and hundreds of people had gone past you like the sands of time. She had already gone home at eleven, but you remained humming to that song she sang. "..when days are too tough, and life gets too rough.. there's only one thing that I need.. it's only when you're holding me close," you sing, feeling tears fall from your eyes as you repeat those last words to yourself. In your rough hand that was once stained of blood is a small locket, which holds a photo of a woman and a child. "..to you.." "Alright, buddy. Let's get you home." [ I had fun writing this. :> Even though I'm also a high school student who has nothing better to do then to write. :0 ]

Samantha's voice is absolutely golden with a nice 50's postwar vibe, I'd be lying if I said I didn't fall head over heels for her singing. But it is Seycara's masterful orchestration that helps it shine all the more, taking what is already great into the realm of the divine by accenting it beautifully. Thank you for bringing this to the world, Seycara. I hope you know that you are an inspiration to all of us out there that have hopes to pursue our dreams during school too.
I'm really a sucker for slow romantic jazz, this really just hits all the right notes. Awesome feature; her voice really flows through the song so well with the piano, especially when she start hitting those high notes. Honestly love this style of music, can't wait to see more!
