Hi so I have a question, where does those bloggers take the product photos they promote for example from amazon. As an affiliate you get a link to put on your site. But there are parts like you cant put or convert the link, ex. When you post a blog or add product to your site and you need to upload a featured image (this doesnt allow you to put a link but just upload a new image) and I see a lot of bloggers making collage for their promotions like in pinterest! How can they do that and for sure they took the image on amazon coz its just the same! But how to not get wrong? What do they do?
What would be a case if we use one of these public domain image to design a website and later on we find it someone else is using the same image in their website and they have copyrighted the whole website including the content , will there be copyright issue ?
I'd like to use in-game screenshots(without permission) for my videos and it's all about promoting the game where i took the screenshots from, is that under fair use or no?
Wonderful video! Very informative and straight forward as you can make it, for such a complicated subject. My issue is that the terms weren't quite specific enough to make me clear about my particular situation, so I have a question. I'm an artist whose work consists of a fair amount of fan artwork. So, my archive of artwork is lots of other creator's characters reinterpreted in my drawings. Would using my artwork on business cards be seen as copyright infringement because of the other creator's characters?
Have them sign a release before you draw their characters or retroactively ask them to sign a release. Hi, just a small question: I draw a lot and I wanted to make a design for a friend who wants to start a company. I started to look for inspiration and i "Accidentally" drew a part of someone's (google image) design in it. Do I still need to ask for permission? (Let me explain it more: It is a drawing of an animal: A rabbit, specifically. And I copied the outer form of the animal.)
Ok please awnser my question, my profile picture background is not mine but I put the S in it al by myself, is it legal to do that and use it freely or not?

I plan to create a gaming blog website which later on gets monetized via ads. I wanted to make sure that I won't get headaches in the future with copyright stuff and penalties. Hope you could help me with this. Thank you very much!
Could you clarify the point at "Will you profit personally or commercially from publishing the image?" Does "profit" here mean purely financially? In other words, if the RUclips channel is not monetized, does this count as fair use? Thank you.

what if i were to use small parts of several images to create a youtube thumbnail? Example: if i took say the body from a body builder photo, the head of a video game character, horns from a random demon, fangs from a random pair of teeth, and my own created background, and put them all together would that be fair use?
If I do activity artbook where I do "Beyonce" Tupac & Biggie Smalls but I use images or music video I found in internet-based search but photoshop filter to make it line art is that okay or do I have to add a background to be different from the original image I found on internet? Could it be consudered fan art?
If I were to use a photo of a celebrity that's easily obtained on Google and printed it on a t shirt for sale, is that considered not fair use? Alot of them it's hard to find the original source as there's so many of that same image
I am wondering about Royalty Free images, are these totally free to use, if not am i allowed to use any of them i want as long as i make some type of changes on any image i'd care to use?
Do I commit copyright if I use part of the image by cutting it out and then use it on my next photo manipulation project? I saw many people using it or showing tutorial on youtube?

Okay well I have a question and it'd be great if someone answers me back, so what if u want to use a meme image like SpongeBob or something in my RUclips video. Will it be copyrighted or not? and how can I figure out if it's copyrighted
SpongeBob is a straight Bold NO. It's a "famous cartoon" and someone else created it. 🤷🏻♀️.... It may be like with music. If I add music like because it's playing in the background .. or I do a musical performance with a song of anyone,. to my RUclips video ..or any Facebook upload video....they always send a notice and block the music because of the rights and bla bla bla. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Question. I found an image of a side profile headshot of Kobe Bryant. I took the image into photoshop and made a silhouette of it. I then placed original typography and other designs on the silhouette. Would that be considered a violation of copyright?

Very helpful, and informative, thankyou. I am still confused about Fair Use of images. The subject i want to explore is a narration and study into the Ivory billed Woodpecker, which is believed to now be extinct. I want to do commentary over the images( which will be from stock photos), would this be possible? I already have a wildlife channel, using all my own footage, but as this will be a research video, can i use the images as i will be commenting? Also if the image is not used full screen, and has text with it, would this help? Thanks again for a great video, im just confused if this concept i have would be ok under FairUse. Best wishes🙂🙏

This is an excellent video. I recently had an organization use one of my paintings in a background for a video without my knowledge, permission, or attribution. I intend to send them a link to this video, because they are clearly uninformed about copyright laws! Thank you!
