As someone who played Punchout NES back in the day, and the SNES version, I can't get over how faithful this is to the original sources and such a beautifully designed game.
14 years after Punch Out Wii's release its still legendary.

To be fair, Punch Out is basically a boss rush game.
The Title Bout battles are technically the only battles that we can consider as bosses. Also DK could be considered a boss since he is a random fighter in Mac's Last Stand!
Just a small comment, but can we admit Glass Joe actually has some decent muscular structure? Like he is weak as far as Boxing is concerned, but he looks at least half decent.
The problem is probably his jaw structure. I think getting into bodybuilding would be better for him or non contact sports like track and field.
In the nes version of punch out, when a round is over you can see glass Joe saying don’t go for his jaw. So that might be his sensitive spot
Props for him. Despite having I think 99 losses, he keeps getting back up for more.

Actually Donkey Kong does appear in the BACKGROUND of some of the Title Defense fights. He just appears in the front row or the very back depending on the fight. That’s probably what he meant.
