I love that it doesnt look like the typical baby room. The wall with Reuben and Asher's name really popped out. The green paint was actually a beautiful color. I think as they get older they really love the room. Especially around Emma's age.

The dark green can grow with them! Be a good way to do camo, since Justin was in the military, but also Dino's or tractors. But sooo many fun things to do with that color! It's an awesome color! Just really loving it.
He was in the navy but camo is still a cool idea!
Neon Vixen people in the navy still wear camo it is just a grey blue camo not a green color like most branches of military.. 🙂

you can paint the L brackets the same color as the walls so they don't stand out so much :)

I was coming to say the same thing. Lol
I love that the part near the boys cribs seems safe so they don't have much of a chance to get hurt .... but that because of the details on the wall it still has character. I have an eight month old and trying to come up with something aesthetic but also safe and functional is a challenge for sure.
I really wasn’t sure how the green was going to look with the gray board and batten and before it was put together I wasn’t loving it, but once it is finished with the cribs and their names it looks SO GOOD
PS- the little name pennants aren’t linked, could you mention the shop??

I'd personally do the panelling a lighter grey or white to go with that dark green

The boy's room has turned out lovely. Personally, I wouldn't have had such a dark wall there is no contrast between the two dark colours, Like you, I always play safe with natural colours, so I think you were brave to do something different. The boys will love it and it will grow with them. I hope you add an extension to your home and be able to stay there as it's so beautiful and spacious with a great back yard.
I like that it’s a room they can grow into as they get older! Don’t have to repaint just add twin beds for each. Simple and not overcrowded is the best specially with twins. I hope they adjust and have an easy transition sleeping in their gentlemen’s suite!!
I love the room so much. That green is perfect for the Swannie twins ❤️ Me and my twin brother had separate rooms as toddlers (even though we usually slept in the same room for years after that). His room was dark blue and white with orange fishes painted on the walls and mine was pastel pink and purple with butterflies painted in the walls (my mom is an artist and did it herself 🥰). I still have fond memories of my childhood bedroom. I hope they too have wonderful memories of theirs
I'm not convinced on the colours but as long as they're happy 😁

Love the room!!! A little trick - paint the silver hanging brackets on their name frames the same colour as the wall and they will blend in and you won't even see them. You guys are amazing.
I love everything and the dark green, but not so sure about the dark grey and green together.

But... Personally I am not keen on the Dark Green... Makes the room look smaller but maybe in person it doesn't....

I have twin boys! They’re 2 now and I basically did all white and neutral tones. I figured I needed to make it as calm an environment as I could. I can say they’re great sleepers! Getting them in their own room is the best way to start the sleep transition. Good luck, I hope your twins sleep soundly and let mom and dad get some rest as well!

It would have been cute as well to paint the green wall Navy and print a black and white picture of Justin’s ship from his Navy days.

It turned out cute. Looks more like a bigger boys room rather than a nursery. Id also paint the brackets so they blend in. Also maybe add some greenery, plants or something. Just so that it blends in a little better with the green paint. But overall. Y'all did a good Job !

I love the whole decor, except for the tone of green chosen. It just doesn’t add contrast with the bottom part of the wall.

It seems so dark. Maybe its just the lighting. Does anyone do traditional baby rooms any more? All these nurseries i see online are bland dark colors. Or am I just getting old? Lol!
I find traditional nurseries kinda... idk... tacky? Why not step out of the ordinary and do a themed room depending on your baby's personality?
