Hi Viljami! Great video! Do you mind sharing your thoughts on what lens is best to bring on this trek? I'm debating between a 28-75 mm vs 28-200mm. Thank you!
I carried 24-70 mm, 70-200 mm and 10-18 mm lenses, with loads of extra batteries and memory cards. And the GoPro. Used all of these lenses, 70-200 mm for almost all wildlife shots and mountain close-ups, but then 10-18 mm and 24-70 mm for people and landscape photos. Even though this resulted as a heavy day backpack, now looking at the photos, it was worth it (:

Fantastic,!!!!, at my age I couln'd do what you two lovely couple are doing,,..but watching you, brought me back, great self memories, from my own trips to peru and elsewhere,..I Will strongly recomend to go to Punta Olímpica, towns like Chacas, etc, you won't regret,, you guys did,...greetings from the USA nyc,.....
Congratulations Viljami, you and your sweet wife made it to the Andes and enjoyed all the way through ... I prefer the sun , the heat and the rainforest sO I am looking forward to see you enjoy the jungle of Perú... please take TONS of insect repellents (as Finns I bet you've never seen at home an insect in your life!!) and your swimsuits .. you'll never want to be out of the water. Be very careful because food gets sour so fast, you do not want to be ill again in your honeymoon!! Be careful and I am glad you're liking my country so far😍
Aaa i can see after other videos. It was November right? I watched all of them! Great info! We planing similar route but add Patagonia and Rio. Now im little worry if we will manage in 6 months 😬
