I lived there almost 6 years, but to be honest, right now, after 8 months, I kinda start to miss London.

My old dad would take me on a walking tour of the “more interesting corners of his old manor” when I was just a dustbin lid, pointing out doorways, alleys and what appeared to be ‘innocuous little buildings’ with more history than the USA- and then he had a little story for each of them.
He loved London as much as his home and family - worked at Billingsgate almost all of his life,
And you took me right back there.

Wonderful treat, thank you! My wife and I visited London about a decade ago and spent 8 days going on every London Walk that we could. Jack the Ripper was my favorite. Favorite Pub was Hemingford Arms where I got to hear a Bluegrass Jam!

I have lived in London for 16 years and have over 40k photos of it. I'm constantly googling stuff related to my photos so over the years I've amassed a lot of knowledge about London and its amazing history. I have been on many guided walking tours around the world and I was really captivated by the engaging and fun personality by the guide here. I can imagine if she was teaching history in schools to children she would bring the subject alive and her enthusiasm would ignite interest her audience.
I found this really interesting. I lived in London for about 17 years. I played the tourist a bit but I feel I missed so much. Thank you

The City of London is my favorite part of London, It's less touristy, and it has that old London vibe where the buildings are very Dickensian and the streets are very ornate, The tourists head for the brights lights or endless stores that infiltrate slightly further to the west. but that means more space for me in my favorite part of London.

My grandad took me when i was 14 .That was 53 years ago and I still think of it .We walked every weekend for several months all ovrer london .i never knew anyone who knew as much as he did about london .
I was not impressed with "The City," when I visited previously, but your walking tour opened my eyes to many gems I missed. Great video!

I’ve just found this video and love it! I’ve been to London once a year since 2013, creating my own walking tours each time. I vacation by myself while my husband is in meetings. I’ve created photographic themes for each visit (such as Tube stations, staircases, churches). As I hunt down the best photographic subjects, I’m delighted to find other gems on my journey. The best example of that was a trip to photograph the Tulip Staircase in Greenwich. I took a boat to Greenwich, arriving at 1:00pm, when I learned about Greenwich Mean Time. I never knew what that meant before that day. Doh.
Anyhoo, I’m going again in April and would very much enjoy more videos from you! You’re a delight to watch and so full of great information!

I'm really glad I watched this video now. I was in London back in Oct 21, I planned out a walk starting at the Tower of London (which i had never been to) and went along the river, across London bridge, through Borough Market, past the Golden Hinde, Winchester Palace, Shakespeare Globe, Tate Modern, across Millenium Bridge towards St Pauls. But somehow, I must have walked straight past St Dunstan, the All Hallows and the old bits of Old London Bridge and never known about them. But next month, I'm back in London with a friend, and I thought I'd take him on the same route as there are some nice pubs and some cool sights. Also I can look like I know what i'm doing by retreading old footsteps lol. But this time, I have to stop in all of these stops. Roman roads, Blitz damaged Churches and remains of Old London Bridge (which I would have love to see in it's peak), why wouldn't you want to check out these sites.
