I did a walkthrough around the Aroma Tondo Fire Aftermath. On September 14th, 2024 in Barangay 105 Aroma, a fire started somewhere around Tenement Buildings 23-27 and spread rapidly throughout the community. Over 1,000 families lost their homes, and a few people had some minor injuries. The investigation continues as far as what actually started the fire, but rumor has it that it was started by someone cooking, but that was just hearsay. There are so many people living within this community, so it will be very difficult to pinpoint what actually happened. Anyways, it was a sad scene, but just like always with my past experiences here, the community impressed me with their positive attitudes. I pray for the community of the Aroma Tondo Fire in Barangay 105 Tondo Manila Philippines, and hope they recover soon. Enjoy the walk, and I'll see you again soon! JOIN MY LIVE STREAM CHANNEL HERE! @j.t.cooper2963 perhaps you prefer mass genocide, population liquidation as an alternative solution????Whole families wiped out.....the poor have been with us as long as humanity has existed....I don't believe all of them choose that lifestyle....I do believe in having compassion on my fellow human being instead of wilful apathy. If I didn't care I would have left my terminally ill wife who is dying....as an analogy for comparison...and yes she really is dying and I have the stones to give a damn and do the right thing by demonstrating real compassion....genuine and commendable actions are a reflection of real men worthy of respect.
great footage. even as a Filipino just one hour away, this is utter chaos. There is no quick straightforward solution. There are reasons why this way of life exists and persists.
I know it’s a very massive task by the local Government to help these people to hve a temporary shelter. As the video strolls I noticed the Pilipinos are positive people start to picked up pieces to make temporary shade. Hope they hve the resilience to overcome their hardship 🤲
The people of the Philippines are a very RESILIENT people; that is always seen after a Super Typhoon. Nonetheless, my ❤ and prayers go out to all who are affected from the fire.
This is not an ordinary fire, the alarm raised up to Task Force Bravo, even the Helicopter of Air Force of the Philippines assisted to control the spreading of fire
What the government should do is bull doze all that down and build something new for all of them to live that's safer and cleaner. Come on, government, step up to help your people, so sad.
This is very sorry and sad, one thing I can never understand is why does a super poor neighborhood or country insist on multiplying with 100s if not thousands of children in this small falling apart community,, i've seen tours of this same area before the huge fire, and it was still very hard to look at and walk-through,,
LOVE ❤ BLESSINGS 💥🌈💥💥 FOR ALL 🎶 AFFECTED!! I'm so glad nobody died, and i hope the injured recover well and are healthy. Philippino's have positive, kind fighting spirit ✨️ and will help one another and REBUILD all the homes 🏡.
I’m sure there are some organizations who do this, but I’m always hesitant because not sure if the donation ever goes 100% to the people. Check out my Philanthropy Treks playlist and let me know if that would be of interest to you. Thanks for watching!
The Philippines does little to help the poor, it just builds tiny overpriced condos for Chinese and Filipinos living overseas or hundreds of malls that much of the population cannot afford to shop in other than buy a Jolibee or Mang Inasal whilst enjoying the only air conditioning they will ever experience.

Quite a few comments wishing & saying the government will help the people affected. If there is one thing we know about disaters in the Philipines and the various governmens involved, Federal, State & Provinicial is that the last people they help are the people affected - the government tends to help themselves to any funds/money raised or allocated to assit the people. For a catholic country the govermnet & agencies are very unchristian towards each other.
Did you notice that you were not immediately struck down after rashly accusing God in your post? That my friend is the mercy and patience of God concerning you. Did God start the fire? Did you see the size of the blaze, yet amazingly not a soul lost their life? But instead of thanking God for no loss of life, you want to blame God for the fire. It is God who meets their needs every day in the first place, and He will continue to do so. Is it possible that some will turn to Jesus for eternal life because of this tragedy? That's the absolute best thing that can happen to a human being. Is it possible that Tondo will be built back better and safer because of this tragedy? Your post Just shows the bent of your heart when it comes to God. We have all sinned against Him and have sinful attitudes, and the world is separated from Him because of that. We deserve none of His goodness, yet He gives it to us anyway. Instead of being critical of God for the calamities that sometimes happen, we should be thankful and praise Him for the vast majority of the time that we are shielded from calamity and kept in peace. What you don't realize is that by His perfect standard of righteousness we ALL deserve calamity, and because God is good, He holds back on His justice, so we don't all receive what we deserve from His hand. A far worse outcome in eternity is in store for those who have sinned against a holy God, and that's why God became a man in the person of the Son Jesus Christ to suffer and die in our place for our sins, so that God can give us forgiveness, mercy, grace, and eternal life as His adopted children when we repent and follow Jesus with all of our heart, instead of eternity in Hell and the Lake of Fire, which we have earned and deserve. My sincere advice to you is turn away from your sinful attitudes, and follow Jesus. He's our only hope. "God demonstrated His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
The place looks like Babylon after god rains down a fire. Generations to generation no one will live on that land because everyone will evacuate. Modern day or past the word never change.
Unfortunately most of these people are considered squatters and the government will not help them rebuild. Love the people of the Philippines but the government is a crooked as a switch back mountain path.
I feel so bad for everyone who has been impacted by this horrific tragedy, but I know how resilient Filipino people are they make do with whatever they can salvage and keep smiling while the struggle continues for them. God bless everyone, God will provide and protect us all.

Heart breaking scenes😒. Let's hope the government do the right thing and give a big helping hand to all those affected
My heart breaks for these people.....the government should help them rebuild. Love, respect and prayers for the people of Tondo Aroma😢
Rebuild? Squatter mga nakatira dyan for sure sinadyang sunugin
They should, but they won’t . Philipine government is as corrupt as they come! Remember Ferdinand and Imelda? Stole billions!!!!
Why should the government always pay? These squatters choose to live like this and they know the risk is fires which happen regularly.

As you said, a very sad scenario, this population of Aroma TONDO will certainly overcome this.☹🦾May the government look after them😿

The question is will you let them live with you or do you want your country to turn into a 3rd world squatter shanty town?

These heavy beams 6:00, is it possible to be bent this way in an ordinary fire? I wish they all could get a new home soon. THanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!

the fire was probably very hot to the point where it may have melted the beams to it bending point.

Hope they can bulldoze the area and give jobs to the people that were living there to help rebuild it better and safer.

The City government of MANILA should start constructing medium rise buildings in this area for this displaced people.
I know this slum from Catriona Gray who was spoken during Miss Universe pageant 2018🇵🇭🇹🇭Here is Tondo.

So sad
The sprinkler system 🚒 must have malfunctioned
No sprinkler systems in these buildings
In Thailand if the officials let these happened and don't come to helps, the government will be in big trouble.
So sad 😢
So sad to see this. Tenement/squatter buildings need to be shutdown and rebuilt/relocated LEGALLY with safe construction practices.

at least they had the sense to build fire breaks (main pathways)
❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍 positive side of this homes is the owners will now have money they haven't got before because of the metal scraps recyclables
Who knew connecting all the buildings would make them all burn equally?
