the first episodes were really the best, it was relly funny and interesting to see how he learned to communicate and all those things.

After your comment i started watching The Nine Lives Of Chloe King and i liked it, right now i watched the 7th epi where chloe and Alek kissed it'a a shame series like these do not get more attention and get cancelled

For those who are interested, the actor who played Kyle, Matt Dallas, now has a youtube channel where he makes family vlogs with his husband and son every week called "Matt and Blue". They are a really cute family.

I was rewatching old shows on Disney Plus and I went back to Kyle XY. Took me a while to realize he was Matt from Matt and Blue hahahahaha I screamed so loud, I remember following their channel when they first created it, I can't believe I never made the connection.
And now, they have an adorable daughter too! :D

I can't say that Kyle XY was a masterpiece or anything... but I enjoyed his character, the story and the mysteries that surrounded the series. These few things kept me watching. I wanted to know what would happen to Kyle. :)
It was something different & creative for a change. That was a huge draw. It also opened up a world of possibilities, given the unknown boundaries of the brain's full capacity. Then there's the love stories: following multiple aspects of love through different relationships.
It had soul, it had genuine people and soul

i loved this show
I have mentions and spoofs from this show in some of my works. I am currently working on two different series of graphic novels. My characters of course are'nt these characters but I use topics and spoofs from scences playing out like this. Grew up millenial so I definetly have to give a tribute to this. Just seeing the tech in this show brings back memories.

@@charleshill9913 There are 2 novels, you can search the information on wikipedia. They are just short stories about Kyle, I think it happens between season 1 and 2. The author is S.G Wilkens. I have also found that apparently they wrote another 2 novels, they are listed as kyle xy: novel #3 and kyle xy: novel #4. But I have not found any actual page where they sell the book or have a PDF on it, so if it was printed I think it got lost. In the end this show was great but didn't have that many audience, so I guess they didn't do many books about it. I wish there was a book about how the writers planned it to end.

I remember when I watched this show I loved it so much that I had gotten a marker and wrote "kyle xy" around random areas of the house. I mean like below counters and in between doors, I wonder if the new owners now are still finding them lol
same, first time i watched the show i was like 12 or 13 years old & now im rewatching it again & god damn. I forgot how amazing the show is & how fun it is to watch it

Should've remake the show with new cast and keep the story going until they give us a REAL ending, not a huge cliffhanger at the end.

ive only just watched this show, and finished yesterday. and yeh. it ended weirdly. its amazing people are talking about it after 7 years still, id not heard if it before, but when i watched episode one, i was addicted!. its really good, i dont know why id never heard of it before. its something that could be on tv tomorrow, and it would be a hit. they did kyle xy revealed, it shows what would happen if theyd been allowed to do a season 4. :)

Kyle X WHY. WHY NOT CONTINUE??! My heart is bleeding.
Even these old clips this show is soo not PC. Examples: The autism findings have advanced since this show was running, stereotypical high school bullying and homophobia. Of course no offense but the Tragers were so passive that they have two biological kids that are having underage sex and breaking all kinds of laws(and not to mention curfew). Declan getting committing hit and run with only a slap on the wrist(Affluenza and white privalge anyone?).Plus the main cast was all caucasian only signs of diversity was the school and of course the childrens home with the juice me scene(rest were minor characters and brief). Kinda like seeing these clips and this stuff stay in the time period it was made cause it would be harder to market this now.

9:09 he looks like one of those aliens in Deep Space Nine that works for the Dominion. This series was way under-rated, it was brilliant for its time, and would still be brilliant today. The mom was HOT!

When this show started I thought Kyle was a robot. I guess they would have figured that out quickly if they examined him and all that.
I thought he was either an alien as the other kid suggested a cyborg kind of like vision based on his internal dialog or speech and learning patterns . Then I realized he was genetic experiment born in a tube hybrid of human and am alien race DNA if I am not mistaken.
They should try to bring back this series
