I'd suggest you to use thermoswitch anyway, wired parallel to one of the switches as a safety device. Even though you forgot to turn it on, it turns on when a certain temperature is reached.
I know this is a lot to ask but are you ever going to make a video explaining your chassis harness a little bit? Currently starting work on mine and it would be nice to have a comparison. No one that I can find has ever made videos/write up about it other than using a painless kit.
another option would be to wire it to a relay which would be activated by the fuel pump. On my volvo 240 drift car the fuel pump is activated by the ecu to only run when the engine is running so i can keep the car in the on position and not have the fans on, and the fans only come on when the cars actually running. makes sense for me because i only have 1 fan thats only 1 speed so its on all the time. works well.
i dont know that much about building/working on your own car but i have to ask why do you have a pipe going from you radiator to a soda can doesn't really seem like a normal thing to have in your car

Because of the tube front there's no room for the stock overflow tank. So you would need to make a custom overflow tank, or universal overflow tank with custom brackets. Which in comparison would take a few hours and around $50-$100 vs. 30 seconds and a can haha. I'll be doing a proper setup later on with a swirl pot but for right now there are more important things to worry about than an overflow tank haha. Glad to hear it!

Oh it will be on snap for sure haha. Still deciding on the fabric to go with and all that but it'll be pretty good when done. They are universal that just screw on. They are available in either an M12 x 1.25 or M10x1.25 . So as long as your car has one of those two thread pitches then the shift knob will work :)

It's just for a coolant overflow. Very common to do on built cars instead of running a traditional overflow tank.
