My all time fave: chocolate covered frozen bananas!! Esp with peanuts sprinkled on chocolate before freezing. Delicious and takes ages to eat.
Here in Brazil the churro is thicker with a hole inside , filled with dulce de leche or chocolate cream !! Its soooo good
Italian ice, funnel cake, turkey legs and cotton candy are my favorite carnival foods.
I love getting cotton candy and corn on the cob when I used to go to the Del Mar fair when I was little.

I once went to a carnival that had a cotton candy stand that sold not only a sugared cotton candy but a salted version too made with only salt.
On Halloween I like to carve the caramel covered treat to look like pumpkins. Its super fun!

In the west with have Indian Fry Bread, it is a deep fried tortilla served with honey or powdered sugar. It is good

When I read Carnival I thought to myself ''hm, what Carnival will it be? The Cologne one? The picture sure looks like something from a Christmas Market''
But yeah, it is from one of those american amusement parks
in America almos every town has a festival\carnival where you can get all of these.
My favorite festival is the Fall Festival in Evansville, IN. and some of my fave foods there are cricket chocolate bars, deep fried oreos (booth 101), brain sandwich and gyro's!

A long time ago, a news website started doing youtube videos. After finding an audience in a spin off top ten series, they quickly rose into power as the buzzfeed of youtube. After abandoning journalism for their new found fortune, the popular youtube channel was able to spit out 3-4 videos a day under the philosophy under quantity over quality. Due to this, the possibility of topic themes grew slimmer and slimmer. Eventually the created top ten carnival foods because, why not? And now people are spending their time in the comment section discussing the placement of funnel cake. Funnel Cake... Stop. It. Please.

In Calgary Canada: corn dogs are very popular at our annual Calgary Stampede. Not much love for popcorn, cotton candy, candied apples or pretzels. Probably the same at the other major Canadian summer fairs in Edmonton, Vancouver and Toronto.

Yes, in my country we have Cotton candy, Jhalmuri, Fuchka, Papri Chaat,Fruit Chaat,Chips Chaat,Chanachur, Jelebi,funnel cake,many type of Pakora,popcorn,Nachos on Carnival. I never tested most of dishes in my life.

I was in a carnival once. They had deep-fried bacon. I felt like i got a new fat roll for every bite.

In Kansas there was this orchard open to the public, and they had the BEST glaze donuts

Cotton candy is the best. At the NC State Fair there's often a booth somewhere that makes it with honey. It's delicious.
