Lol, yeah. And the remastered version is still just the beginning of my big goal. I plan to make a big remaster of it each year. So like, a 2021 remaster like back in August, a 2022 remaster that is still yet to come (The Old 97 Remaster video was mainly just a test to see if everything still held up). I now have references of the different locations along the line from Washington D.C to Danville, VA. So some modules/dioramas will be made of those locations for the big 2022 remaster, featuring a planned custom modelled station for Monroe, VA.
These models are truly impressive, as a another fan of the 1102 I think this the best way that anyone would be able to visualise the 1102 today. (As the 1102 is scraped now, and sometimes pictures don’t do it justice.) Keep up the great work!
Thanks! Yeah I forgot to include the one picture I discovered in the video, but I'll include it in the next video of 1102. It's a picture of F-14 No. 1091 sitting idle at Danville, VA station with her crew posed in front of her. Complete "stock" Baldwin appearance, no modifications, and ridiculously high resolution
Is this how 1102 really looked before and at the time of the accident, or was the one with the silver boiler the actual design? Is this just your own spin on it? If so, then please let me know, because I am creating a documentary on the wreck, and could really use that information.
While my favorite steam engines is an excursion stars (those 3 being N&W 611 1218 and Cotton Belt 819) I do personally like 1102. It's an engine that, along with 382, changed the way rail travel was used. I have been to Spencer many times and maybe, just maybe if she had made it to Spencer, she could've been preserved. It is great you are keeping the legend alive and making it in a game.
She technically made it to Spencer, though in pieces. She was repaired there and sent off, and in an ironic twist, was brought back to Spencer in 1935 to be scrapped. Apparently Danville wanted to buy 1102 off of SOU, but as per usual with typical SOU management, they gave 'em the middle finger and even went as far as scrapping her early. Glad you enjoyed
YES!!! The comments are back!! I've been waiting SO LONG to be able to say this(sorry if it becomes an essay, I have a LOT to say). I also don't care if this starts some sort of war in the replies(you lot can have fun down there if you like, I'm just gonna say what I have to say). ThatRedFokker(ex-MohawkNotMountain), I absolutely LOVE your work(both old AND new)! I first discovered your channel via your "Don't Stop Me Now" video, as well as "RUNAWAY"(I believe the 2019 remake), and "T: ANE Physics. . .really?"(that second one had me in stitches on the floor XD), and IMMEDIATELY fell in love with the content you made! It was some of the best stuff I'd seen Trainz-wise on RUclips. I continued to watch a lot of the stuff you made afterward, always excited about what was next. . .then, the "events" occurred. Now, I know this is probably kicking a dead horse(one that's good and buried at that), but I just really want to say this, so here goes. I know about "what you did", and I completely understand why people reacted the way they did, and why you then felt you should leave RUclips(at the moment). But I believe if someone is sorry, and I mean *truly* sorry, they deserve a second chance. Everyone does. Now, maybe that's because I'm a "sappy pushover" or because of my religious beliefs, but I genuinely believe that. And I was really sad to see you go. . . And then, it happened. You came back. I gotta say, my heart jumped for joy when I saw the notification for the Throwback video! I absolutely LOVED the stuff you made, and I believe you're an amazing Trainz content creator(if not the best one out there) both game and RUclips-wise. All in all, I just wanted to let you know, that I forgive you. Some others might say "i"Ll nEVeR FoRGiVe tHAt hRiBle pRsN fEr wHaT tHey'Ve dOne!!", and to that I say: "Fine." If that's how you feel, go ahead and keep feeling that way. But there are others who feel the same as I do, if not more! We absolutely love your content and know you're a good person. Or, at least, that's what I think. No matter what, I'll _always_ love the stuff you make(even if most, if not all, of the Trainz stuff is private). That's all I have to say. See ya out there on the rails. (P.S. One last thing I want to add, I think my favorite video by you might still be one that I believe was made in 2019, involving a near-miss between a PRR and NYC freight train, set to a score called Dogfight. That one was so AWESOMELY made!)
Thank you so much, man, seriously. Yeah, despite the things I did, all I really wanted was to create and show. So my return is pretty much just me pushing forward with my longest living objective. I've expressed my apologies, and of course, it wasn't enough. Had a gut feeling they wouldn't care either way, so I just moved on and continued what I came here to do from the very beginning. I'm very thankful that you properly understood both sides and not just one, and I'm also thankful that you've stuck around this long. Cheers dude! (And yeah that video got lost on both my YT and my computer, NO idea how it happened but I still liked it)
@@thatredfokker "And yeah that video got lost on both my YT and my computer, NO idea how it happened but I still liked it" man, that sucks. but yeah, same here
How do you make such quality models? I'm looking to make a steam locomotive for a local tourist line so I can model it in trainz, but I don't know where to start (what programs I need, how to code the thing, etc.) Is there any way you could help?
One question, That RedFokker and I know this is very typical but just out of curiosity, would you ever make a model exclusively to release to the public? Not any of the ones you’ve built like 1102 but something completely different, again this is just a question out of curiosity, nothing else. I look forward to hearing from you but it’s still your choice.
This is a great 1102 model, lovely as the 382. Sad that it's private, we will never ask for it.
your "Wreck of the old 97" video in august was the birthday present I never know I wanted.

@@thatredfokker That's awesome see you then. on a side note ur K-27 is awesome I recommend you t o try your hand at a T-12 to complete the C&TS roster

@@thatredfokker Ah I see. Well she may not be around but her soul and legend, live on.
@@thatredfokker yeah that’s pretty typical of Southern to scrap an engine. All the poor little 2-8-0’s went down like flies in the 40’s
I'm assuming these will never be released anywhere. Sadly if that's the case they are super beautiful models. Keep up good work
Would never let another soul touch my ten wheeler, lol. Glad you enjoy it, though

The best modeling Studio currently is blender, lots of content creators are using it
Very nice 1102
I really love all your models!! Could you make a tutorial on how to update and kitbash?
whats the point of showing updates to a model that you refuse to release to the public

Nope, never would, sorry bud
Did you make this from scratch? Wow, great work!
i wish we could have ur models ( you a gud moddeler btw can you teach me how to make train?)
Not saying to do it for this model, but have you ever thought of making models and putting them on a website as payware?
Fuck no lol
Will this be released to the public at all?
Nope
Private Model?
Indeed
