Hello again! I'd like to start off by saying you shouldn't worry about having missed a few days, Animal Crossing is a game designed to be taken at your own pace. You shouldn't feel forced to hop on every day. Doing island visits and sharing items could be fun. You should probably have some hard boundaries for getting gifts though, like not being given a straight up inventory full of bells (or being given any bells imo since I feel like it spoils the challenge, but furniture and things people think could fit onto the island could be nice) For the rocks, it's nice to keep some stone, clay & iron on hand for crafting, but it's not something you always need to farm daily. That was not all you could get from the money rock, you missed a drop. You have a very short time to get all 8 drops from when you first hit the rock. You should use some fencing or holes to keep yourself from being pushed back, that'll help get all the hits in. Each non-fruit tree can only drop one special item each (2 with a furniture, 5 with a wasp nest and 10 with 100 bells) and then it's just sticks from there. I understand running from the wasps, but it's costing you 2,500 bells each time you do it, and a potential 12,500 bells a day. You should have your net at the ready whenever you shake a tree, after the wasps drop and you have your surprise animation you'll be facing them, so you can immediately swing and catch them. I believe Sylvia would be pronounced as Suh-ill-vee-ah Villager rarity is just personality/species dependent. The game will try to get you one of each personality (esp through the campsite), and then for villagers on nook mile ticket islands it'll first choose a random species and then a villager of that species (so you'll have way better odds getting a specific 1 of the 3 octopi vs getting a specific 1 of the 23 cats) It can also just be a supply and demand thing, popular villagers like Marshal, Raymond, Shino, Ankha will sell for millions on Nookazon because lots of people want them. Meanwhile less popular villagers like Moose only go for 100k You can definitely hunt for villagers to match the theme, but honestly I'd just go for whoever you like personally. The slingshot recipe comes from Nook's Cranny (The shop when it's built). The pretty good tools gives you upgrades to your flimsy tools, still really useful you should pick it up asap. Shells aren't bad to pick up, venus combs in particular sell for a bit. If you can craft some stuff with shells to sell you could make some decent bells from it.
