Just a word of caution. Composite decking gets extremely hot to the touch when in the sun! Sitting on this midday could burn your legs. Great looking table guys, I just want to share just how hot the stuff really gets
A Glimpse Inside I was thinking the same thing, we made a pic nick table but we used a long folding table like the ones you see in halls we just unscrew the top and put RED WOOD slates and painted it the barn red it's easy to fold away if you want to store it for the winter or take it to a park that doesn't have table's much lighter than the particle wood and you know how heavy that is.
A Glimpse Inside he should add a bottom to the cup holders tho so if the kids go to put a soda in it it doesnt fall right through and also that ring only works for certain cups cups that go strait up and dont get larger on the sides wont work
if every park had them, the trays would be snapped off, the lids would disappear and no one would take their own ice anyway, Plus as someone else said the plastic gets scorching in the sun, making raise for compensation claims for burned arms, so they wouldn't risk it, or having loose screws sticking out the sides. maybe I'm just thinking about over here in the UK, everything is soo over governed by rules and regs :-)
These last two videos have been so practical. I hope this keeps up for aa while because it's quite the breath of fresh air from all of the "1000 degree knife" style videos (yes liquid nitrogen and thermite count under that category of "It's obvious what is going to happen and so it's only mildly entertaining")
This is so cool! I have seen a bizilion videos of people making tables, but this is the first one explaining step by step how and why! Thanks for the idea :)
For added support... use a small paint brush to apply wood glue to all surfaces where any two pieces of wood touch. A nob from an old cubard would work better than the big gaping hole in the center.
The decking material is not strong enough to use in place of the wooden 2" x 4"s. The table would not be able to support the weight of the people sitting at it.
This video inspired me to make a water prof dog house for my wonderful 2 dogs!! P.S the sleep together when it is cold and raining it is adorable!!!! please give this comment a like to make me more motivated!!!!!
This is giving me flashbacks to that time I built a deck with my dad. Way bigger of a project than anticipated but ended up okay. Those deck boards get horribly hot tho! I had to put a rug out there to avoid feet getting burned
Cody Clayden It impossible to due to The fact that dry ice sublimates. It would not cool down the water. The solid would immediently turn into a gas (Property of sublimation). That’s the fog you see coming off of it, it’s co2 gas. Dry ice is extremely difficult to turn into a liquid due to where it’s triple point is (Thermodynamics talk) in order to turn it into a liquid you need the perfect ratio of pressure and temp. At regular pressure, 1atm, it’s impossible to turn it into a liquid.
I think its to avoid spills, especially if you have kids around the table playing games. I know my nephew loves to games like "spoons" and drinks always get spilled.
agreed. im like why are you cutting holes in that decking when its already a table??? people worried about spills on an outdoor picnic table that can be easily washed off...first world problems right there.
I wouldnt mind a true cup holder like take some car built cup holder. I cannot tell you how many time i have beer on the table and have some annoying kids barely bump the table and it goes flying and spill everywhere. The only problem that i see in this design is that it remove the ability to have a umbrella holes for those umbrella for shade. id would have made those table a little longer so that you could attach cooler tray on the side.
he sterem on RUclips did you want to join to hem? Theres no programming bud just look up how to build a computer, there is lots of great vids to show you how it done. Thats how i built mine
Here are some yt channels that build or have built pcs in their videos Linus tech tips Austin Evans Jaystwocents Ncix tech tips Paul's hardware I hope this helps
Im impressed with the picnic table but im more impressed with the workstation below it, how it can handle both his weight and the picnic tables weight is beyond me
I'm curious would it have been easier to do a drop down approach for the cooler with maybe some cord handles to pull it out versus a slide underneath? Or do a combination of the two?
Swiss Army Table

Myte Myteo nope perfect size 😁
Just like tarmac? Ouch.

yeah i use that for my deck and had to put down an outdoor rug on it because it got so intensely hot
A Glimpse Inside i agree
The cup holders are genius for kids parties. No more spillage!!!😂👍
A Glimpse Inside he should add a bottom to the cup holders tho so if the kids go to put a soda in it it doesnt fall right through and also that ring only works for certain cups cups that go strait up and dont get larger on the sides wont work
travis edwards ahh very true. Maybe he should have called this a prototype then!
Kids will find a way to spill it
Just a note, kids can spill anything, anywhere, any time!
This is awesome if only every park had this 😱👌
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED
Yea
if every park had them, the trays would be snapped off, the lids would disappear and no one would take their own ice anyway, Plus as someone else said the plastic gets scorching in the sun, making raise for compensation claims for burned arms, so they wouldn't risk it, or having loose screws sticking out the sides. maybe I'm just thinking about over here in the UK, everything is soo over governed by rules and regs :-)
Exactly😂😂😅😅👌
This is something too do during quarantine.

Best quote this year
You should start putting everything thing you use in the bio. Like a list of things to get to build it. Like
6, 8" decking board
4, 8"2×4
Etc

Some weather proof speakers attached under the table would of been a nice touch as well.
Shoulda added a grill while you were at it
And a bottle opener on the side to open beer. Oh wait, nevermind that's why we have women. Jokes, jokes.
Or added an umbrella.
Or added a rocketship..
the bitty-Q!!!
Matthew Mericle mhhm jokes...
Watching these building videos makes me appreciate the metric system so much more
Plz make a parachute for a project btw I LOVE your videos
Please turn this into a series!!!!!!!
You guys should try making a swamp cooler
nice design looks easy enough to scale up or down
I really want to buy that!
Just diy
Don't buy. You should DIY and make some memories that will last forever.
Available for $350 at TKR webstore
Handmade things *will* be appreciated more than store-bought things. Because you took the time and effort to make the object instead of paying for it.
I always love watching projects like this great job
You are so creative when making random things... I guess that's why they call you the King of Random🤣👍
Light Davis I mean actually he’s the jack of trades
He ain't the o.g king of random lol
But they still do great stuff haha
I do enjoy it when you guys make useful things
I don’t ever make this stuff put I like watching it be made. Keep up the work 🔥🔥🔥
Omg I want to build this so bad. Thank you for telling us the measurements of each board it will make it way easier to build this. I LOVE U!!!!
Sweet table
You could use the hole used to access the cooler to hold an umbrella. It might block the cooler, but on a sunny day it would make a great addition. 😃👌
*_Cool table!_* get it?
Gadgets Discover yeah 💀
Lol
Except when the composite decking gets as hot as tarmac on a sunny day...
Gadgets Discover no
No
For added support... use a small paint brush to apply wood glue to all surfaces where any two pieces of wood touch. A nob from an old cubard would work better than the big gaping hole in the center.
*QUICK MATHS* LOL 😂
Random Video mafs*
i like the animated bits to show the idea before building :)
To make it cheaper, you can modify an existing picnic table
a-lpha of Zeldaforme Gaming really?
Hahahahhahahaha true
I was thinking the same thing
a-lpha of Zeldaforme Gaming go play some zelda kidd
true, you can buy one for $40
Love the extra touch you gave . Great job
I love this! Is there a reason the whole thing isn't made from the decking board, seeing as it won't rot being exposed to the elements?
The decking material is not strong enough to use in place of the wooden 2" x 4"s. The table would not be able to support the weight of the people sitting at it.
thallok oh I see. That makes sense. Now that you mention that, I have noticed, in stores, it's a bit wobbly. Thank you
I really like this kind of stuff, this and the extension cord video. It’s useful stuff that I can reasonably make
can you please make a modified workbench?
sam swain already has
Yesssssssssss
If this RUclips thing doesn't work out you can make and sell tables, they are awesome!!!
This video inspired me to make a water prof dog house for my wonderful 2 dogs!! P.S the sleep together when it is cold and raining it is adorable!!!! please give this comment a like to make me more motivated!!!!!

That's a cool idea to take everyday items and upgrade them.
Keep going!
Yeah I'm stealing this design. This looks like such a fun build.
Aka Ultimate Beer Pong Table 😂
That would be a horrible beer pong table.
Dude that 3d pro planing is badass.
how to make a battery?
he sterem on RUclips did you want to join to hem? Caaaaalm down
he sterem on RUclips did you want to join to hem? Caaaaalm down
I mean I want to see someone die
Alright how to get a battery.
Step 1 - get about 10 bucks
Step 2 - go to a CVS or a place that sells batteries.
And that's how you get batteries
Wtf
I love the way you explain everything
Do not use that composite decking! It gets insanely hot in the sun, rendering your table unusable.
Chili Poppa I mean the stuff got its start as above ground pool decking barefeet sun water works great no rot no splinters easy clean
Tim Cushing he is right though. It's like standing on blacktop in the summer.
Isn't it possible to put a tablecloth on it? That's what I do anyway. Works great!
Maybe build a foldable version of it? And adding cool pack slots outside the drink cooler will be amazing.
Why don’t you freeze electricity in liquid nitrogen
This is giving me flashbacks to that time I built a deck with my dad. Way bigger of a project than anticipated but ended up okay. Those deck boards get horribly hot tho! I had to put a rug out there to avoid feet getting burned
Notification Squad 👌
Did that a long time ago.
Adam Dzaky did you comment on sammy clasic sonic fan
Cool animation for pre-construction
picnic table on a working table

Finally a guide for my first wood project
hi guys love your vids can u make dry ice a liquid by adding cold icy water?????

My homemade table is like this and I didn't even know u had a vid about this until now
Why would you need cupholders on a table... ITS A FLAT SURFACE, JUST PUT YOUR DRINK ON THE TABLE!
I think its to avoid spills, especially if you have kids around the table playing games. I know my nephew loves to games like "spoons" and drinks always get spilled.
