An amazing place, and interesting, as it is known about the ancient Celts that they didn't build temples but performed rites in sacred groves, at springs, at certain spots in remote forests, and at some "healing" wells and hot springs (such as at Bath). It's an amazing place. Those carvings of faces are a sign that the people who gathered at this spot probably had their ancestors in mind. Thanks for posting this video on RUclips. It's very important to see this kind of thing!

Thank you for your very interesting comment. Yes, I really enjoyed visiting that unusual site. It is not well known so took some finding. The water sprouts out of the rock face next to it. Have a great day!

I visited hear today. It’s in my local area. I could park about 200m away. Took about half hour to find. Walked past it actually and had to circle back.
The Site was very interesting. The large rock face stood out in the area, and has some portal looking openings.
I made sure to wash my hands in the water pouring out the rock. It was cold and fresh. I really wanted to drink a bit, but obviously did not.
The actually stone that protrudes out the the face looks like a bean shaped that has been pushed through the different type of stone.
It was bone dry as well, the rest was very slimy and wet, but not the bean shape.
This is all new to me, but being more spiritual as I grow older is amazing, as I take great pleasure in learning and visiting places like this.
I will return one day and chill out for longer and maybe make some food and relax. It was beautiful, tucked away in a little slice of the mountain. The sounds were absolutely blissful.
Thanks for sharing this video, as It definitely influenced me to go.
      Thanks

These are actually not faces in the stone, they are Maps of the Local Hillforts in the area at Llantrisant Castellau Rhiwsaeson Gaer ( Caer Caradoc )and Gwaelod and also refer to the Ancient Blue Stones at Rhiwceiliog and Craiglas near Pencoed and three others not known, I would refer this place as being about 4-5 Thousand years old, the Romans built three large forts in the area, the two large holes in the centre of the so called faces would have been the seats of Chieftains and were Large Round Houses, the straight lines would have been the Barrow Burials from the early Bronze age up until probably 1000 AD, these Hillforts were inhabited throught the Pre Roman through the Roman and Saxon periods and up to the Norman Invasion, the Tribes were called Siluri by the Romans who spoke Brythonic Celtic or Welsh as the English call it and were of the same as the Demetae and Picts of Northern Briton who spoke Brythonic Celtic, Caledon king of the Picts in the Roman Period is buried at a Mound at Gwaelod now lost in a Forest, he was a Brother of Caradoc who is Buried in a Very large Burial Mound at Mynydd Y Gaer above the ancient site of Brynnau Gwynion another very large Hillfort across from a string of 26 Hillforts on the Mountains of South Wales facing the sea. All the areas around Castellau Beddau Llantrisant Gwaelod Gaer across to Mynydd Baiden above Tondu Llangynwyd and Margam were the seats of Brythonic Kings down to the Vale of Glamorgan at Pentre Meyrick (Pentre Meurig) Llancarfan Dinas Powys Caerau Ogwy y Mor, ( Ogmore by the sea) Kenfig, ( Cynffig) Morlais ( Porthcawl) Penarth Pendeulwen Ystradowen St Fagans and Llanisien and Lysfain were all seats of Celtic Brythonic Kings over a period of three Thousand Years and do not let the English tell you it is Bollocks, the Truth is in the Third Century writings of Roman Christians and is in the Vatican, also the Aeolian and Guggenheim with the British Museum in London hold Ancient texts some in Latin others in Cymric which Cymric speakers will understand. The sixth Century poet Taliesin wrote of them in a long poem which is hidden away in the British Museum ? till the last War and then Mysteriously disappeared.
I have read many early manuscripts at the Guggenheim where they will let you see them, also at the Seats of the Bavarian Kings in Germany they trace their Ancestry back to Celtic Kings of the Roman and earlier Period and it is interesting that the Crown of Hywel Dda whose crown was much earlier, was given as a Gift by Richard the first the Lionheart to the Kings of Bavaria and was later plundered by the Nazi's and was kept at Wewelsburg Castle where Himmler and the SS along with Hitler would look at the crown as a search for them into King Arthur, whom they extolled for some stupid Wagnerian Germanic reason( Parzival) Percifael in 6th Century Cymric, although the Crown is from that period most definitely, this Crown is somewhere, there is a copy.
This area is certainly Druidic and was also used by the Romans in their beliefs it is a fascinating place where I Visited first nearly 80 Years ago, the Historians do not recognise anything from the Celtic peoples in English History they have deregatory terms for the British people of whom I am one, I was educated at Oxford in History and in the Classics, but I never listened to English History, I am Cymric and my ancestors were NOT English same as my great uncle Sir Arthur Evans, whom the English Establishment tore apart, because he said that the Celts of Turkey Galateans were from Britain, early Turkish Ottoman maps show Gaer and the yn Caerau which they called Ankyra, we are Ancient Very Ancient our Heritage is Ancient far older than any Germanic peoples. People in Britain should just take a walk around the Countryside the History of the British is written in the stone all over Britain and that includes Orkney Shetland and Faroes all have Brythonic Celtic signs and Burials.
I have to get my Tirade out against English Bollocks History of Britain, I speak all the Brythonic Languages and they all Old Middle and Modern Cymric are virtually the same, and we DID write you will find it is similar to Etruscan where you have Celtic sites at Caeau and Fiesole , also Cornish is the same as Cymric and what they are speaking now in terms of Cornish is Gibberish, Cumbrian and Caledonian also was Cymric and so was Cumbrian and all other places of what is now England and many parts of Northern France Belgium Normandy where the Gallois was spoken, Calais Caen Carentan Lille Bruges Morlais Dieppe Arras Loos Ghent Falais Nantes Paris all are Brythonic Celtic names and Thousands of others throughout France Bretons initilly spoke Brythonic same as the Pictones of the Loire, but the Language was Bastardised by the Goths Franks Saxons and Normans, I can say that old Breton say First World war was very similar to Cymric, there is NO Gaelic in their Language they are from Prydain, ask any Breton he will tell you their History.
The Scots are Gaels from Ireland and are a mixed Race of Norse and Saxons with Gaels and Brythonic Celts thrown in, yet Robert the Bruce was from a Breton Family Le Breoc or Le Breos whom earlier were from the Kings of Gwynedd and Rheged Ystrad Clwyd ( At Clut is NORSE) their family name was the Brythonic name Brewys , William Wallace is of the same Family from Powys , Wallace means the Welshman in English, he spoke Cymric as well as Gaelic and he also spoke four other Languages but he was as Evil as Longshanks and was a real Bastard to anyone around him. ( Mel Gibson was all Bollocks) . The Archers were from Cymru and not Irish and fought with Wallace but the English Archers also mainly were from Cymru as well, they were highly sought after, but there were Irish with Longshanks.
De Clare De Spenser De Bohun De Breoc all Bretons and many others as well, little is made of the fact that the Conqueror did not only invade at Hastings he landed his Breton Knights at Pembroke ( Penfro) where they raised a Cymric Army bigger than William's Invasion force and Invaded the Saeson from the west , they spoke the Tongue that was much easier, the Conqueror also spoke Cymric as did many Norman Knights particulary Du Cann and Du Rhys .
Of Course De Clare invaded Ireland as well with De Bohun and De Spenser, Co Clare is named after Clare .
Diolch y fawr, Prynhawn da, I will let you go.
I by the way was not Born in Cymru, I was born in Hertfordshire, but I was speaking Cymric before English both my Mother and Father were Cymric and I brought up my Children with the Language as well and it has continued.

Absolutely Celtic as the celts include a huge range of various tribes and peoples including the Britons. From Wikpedia: The Celts (/kɛlts/ kelts, see pronunciation for different usages) or Celtic peoples (/ˈkɛltɪk/ KEL-tick) were a collection of Indo-European peoples[1] in Europe and Anatolia, identified by their use of Celtic languages and other cultural similarities.[2][3][4][5] Major Celtic groups included the Gauls; the Celtiberians and Gallaeci[6][7] of Iberia; the Britons, Picts, and Gaels of Britain and Ireland; the Boii; and the Galatians. The relation between ethnicity, language and culture in the Celtic world is unclear and debated;[8] for example over the ways in which the Iron Age people of Britain and Ireland should be called Celts.[5][8][9][10] In current scholarship, 'Celt' primarily refers to 'speakers of Celtic languages' rather than to a single ethnic group.[11]
