@@huntersfishingadventures5324 thanks. Seen those sandy beaches but thought no access. The large sand mullet pull hard and smash unweighted baits when feeding. The skinner fantail? mullet have also fine white flesh....bleed of course.

Norah head, any sheltered beach in warmer months will hold them. Just throw a bit of bread in for burley and see if they come you be surprised 👍

I was Unprepared for live bait, they are a great bait source.
