Hi Nathan! Papa G here. Love the content... keep grinding. My favorite "go-to" under $60 (and under $25) is Old Grand Dad Bonded. You just can't beat the flavor and punch. If you haven/t tried it lately, try it again. Cheers!! 💙
Nice choice’s! For me real quick I would say 1792 12yr, 1792 SB, 1792 Full Proof, Larceny BP’s, Knob Creek 12yr, Knob Creek picks, Sagamore’s, Bardstown Origins, Michters core lineup, Baker’s 7, Russell’s Reserve SB, and Heaven Hill 7yr B in B to name a few! Cheers
I can’t get blue note in Virginia, but recently went to South Carolina and got a blue note store pick, at 120 proof. Gotta agree they are phenomenal for the price. And might even be a top 10 overall for me. I’d argue Stagg jr, but that’s assuming you can find it at msrp. Which, in Virginia, you can….or could before our new drop system with mild effort. Got my first one for 55. I get that it’s allocated and hard to find for that. I’d also say wild Turkey Kentucky spirit, one of my favorites, and not super hard to find.
My current under 60 shelf: Old Grand Dad 114, Knob Creek 9, Stranahan Sherry Cask, Alberta Premium, Benchmark Full Proof, Old Forester 1920, Jim Beam Black 7, Evan Williams bottled in bond, Kirkland Scotch, Pendleton Midnight, Buffalo Trace, Wild Turkey 101
I'd love to pick up that OF Single Barrel 100 proof. My barrel proof OF is way too hot. It's a little better after sitting for a few months, but I think that 100 proof would be my sweet spot.
I am a rye guy so here you go. Elijah Craig Toasted Rye... yum. All the Sagamore ryes. New Riff single barrel ryes and bourbons. Price dependent. And the absolute banger is my Henry McKenna B.I.B. 10-year bourbon. This bottle made me see what the difference in bourbons could actually be. Great picks of your own but some are not available in my area. The Blue Note stuff I started ordering straight from them and I will never look back. All of their stuff is worth the money.
I agree HMK10 is absolutely delicious. People are just mad it's 65$ now and available when it was hard as HELL to find years ago at 35-40$. The Toasted Rye EC isn't as good as the regular Toasted Bourbon EC to me.
I will take OF SiB 100 any time I see them. Only seen one in the wild and it’s on my shelf and always hunt OF BP/ SiB when I see them. All day everyday.
For me, Green River Full Proof is #1, Jack Daniels Single Barrel bourbon, Rare Breed, New Riff Single Barrel, Knob Creek 9 Single Barrel and regular Knob Creek, High West Double Rye
Hi Nathan ---- solid list! Only bottles I would add for consideration would be: Bulleit Bourbon 10 Year , John J Bowman Single Barrel and Heaven Hill 7 Year BIB Cheers to all!
I actually paid $74 for that Old Scout bottle. Wasn't paying attention when I swiped my card. Once i noticed, I went back... turns out he accidentally scanned it twice. They are an honest store and made it right. Great bottle, great store.
KC SiB and Makers private select should have been in there, 4 roses smb select also. Old scout has been hit and miss and so has some of the penelope toasted bottles. blue note is good but not kc sib or makers picks good lol
I got a store near me hanging on at $59.99 near STL. I stop in to this place about once a month to get a Larceny barrel proof as they constantly get older batches as well as new. Trying to find them all eventually. Just got 2 Larceny C923 this last week.
@@mattschmitt9924 In PA we still have earlier batches on the shelves for $54.99, all the way up to B524. But, C924 just dropped here and it's $70.99. Allocated stuff in PA is always at MSRP, because we are state-run. One of the only benefits to it.
Solid list. I think OF 1910 and 1920 need to be in the conversation.
Great lineup, I would just have to add four roses small batch select
Good stuff

Like your list. Also like woodford double oak, old forester 1910 and Nelson Brothers.
Nice choice’s! For me real quick I would say 1792 12yr, 1792 SB, 1792 Full Proof, Larceny BP’s, Knob Creek 12yr, Knob Creek picks,
Sagamore’s, Bardstown Origins, Michters core lineup, Baker’s 7, Russell’s Reserve SB, and Heaven Hill 7yr B in B to name a few! Cheers
Wild turkey rare bread
If you can find a 1792 SB store pick, pick it up!! They are so good!!
Very good choices. You should try the new Jim Beam Winter Reserve, surprisingly good for a 86 proof whiskey
I would’ve chosen OF100 (the orange label 25 🦌 one) as another sub-50 bottle. Solid bottle.

Some of the best on the market imo

Great list. My go-to is HH BIB. I can get it for $38 and it's delicious. Need to try some on your list. Nice video Nathan!
Love the 100 proofers but I'll take a well selected OFSBCS any day over the 100
Woodford Double Oaked, Makers 46, Old Forester 1910.
I'd love to pick up that OF Single Barrel 100 proof. My barrel proof OF is way too hot. It's a little better after sitting for a few months, but I think that 100 proof would be my sweet spot.
I love green river!
Just got a store pick of green river in Kentucky - can't wait to try it!

Heck yea!

Hi Nathan ---- solid list!
Only bottles I would add for consideration would be: Bulleit Bourbon 10 Year , John J Bowman Single Barrel and Heaven Hill 7 Year BIB
Cheers to all!
Wish I could find Bowman SB. Didn't find it on my recent trip to Kentucky.
WTRB, poopers craft 100, jack dangles bonded rye, redwood empire pipe cream, Knob crank store picks.
I''d say store picks in general can be a good bet. And New Riff Single Barrel
I agree with every bottle on your list. Great list and great video cheers!🥃
Love every single one of these!!!!
Larceny is 75.00 in my area. Cheapest I’ve found it was 67 at a Costco liquor store

If I could find the JD barrel proof rye for that price I'd buy a case 🤔😉👍
Great list of bottles!!
Got an a124 larceny, i like it
That Jack Daniels rye is amazing!!
Absolutely but $69.99 in my area. Still a must have when I see them
I prefer the JD SBBP bourbon but the rye is good. However, it's closer to $70 in my state.
A lot of people sleep on the Old Scouts! I bought a few store pics of them and they easily beat some of the $80+ bottles that I have!
I have to find some of those.
green river fp, woodford double oak, rare breed, of 1910, of 1920, anything in the bardstown origin series
KC SiB and Makers private select should have been in there, 4 roses smb select also. Old scout has been hit and miss and so has some of the penelope toasted bottles. blue note is good but not kc sib or makers picks good lol
It would be awesome if you would line up your picks at the end so I can screen shot all. ❤
I’ll keep the noted!
If i can find Elijah Craig toasted barrel under $60 it's a must have.
KC SiB, WTRB, 4R SBS, Holladay BiB, HH BiB…a ton below $60!!
cheapest larceny bp is 69 around me up to 90
Russell’s Reserve 10
Wild Turkey Rare Breed
Jim Bridger Montana Whiskey
1792 BiB
Old Forester 100
Old Forster 1910
JD SBBP
Woodford Double Oak
eagle rare, hands down
JD rye $74
Rittenhouse Rye Single Barrels are a solid buy for $40
Thank god it drinks at 134, 135 is too much for me 😂
OF 100pf bottles are never below 80 here in WA. Sadly. And then add 20% liquor tax on top of it. Painful being a bourbon fan here.
Larceny BP is no longer under $60. $70.99 MSRP now for C924.
